I come back after a 24 hour game jam and a Friday lesson and you guys have done over a page!

SnowOwl you're absolutely right, I am very needy, but don't like to feel like I am, thus I try to act like I don't care, a lot of the time it's in interest of not giving people need to assault me because they know I'll take it pretty well, a lot of other times it's selective ignorance.

I definitely don't have enough social experience, but I have and will continue to try to better myself. That's all I can really promise.

I'm on break for a week (+typical weekend) and I've handed my assignments in, so I might be here a little during this week, we'll see!

Yes, that is a dress under the hoodie, my classmates are cool with it and no one else is even sus I'm actually a guy so hey, that works! I can finally dress this way and get away with it, with no funny looks at all. Now instead of looking like a teenage boy i now look like a teenage girl.

I've managed to make a couple of solid games in it, but whenever i tried to make talk boxes i would just curl up and cry because nothing ever seemed to work. I had to copy a talk box system i found on the internet.

Exactly this. Game maker is fine until you want dialogue then you have a crisis.

I've dabbled in it here and there. Never made anything with it I've been happy to release sans a little walk around scene for a webcomic I made years back. Though the pirate game wip I was working on had some promise.

Gave up on Moonchild, a rarity for me...its now one of the few games on my hidden folder in steam that isn't a duplicate or demo version.

You could also refund it.

I actually caught wind of it a month ago, it looked... wow, like something really bland and generic that was too big for it's own boots. Though I was turned off by the trailer and just... everything the dev used to market it. Like, if you're going to include a review with a rating in the trailer, at least make sure it is someone of any note at all. Who is JaylsGames or Jay Is games?

The amount of pretentiousness it had while revealing so little about the game just made me like 'nope!'. I like to know what I'm in for before I spend ten dollars on a fuckin rpg maker game.

Also it had a strategy guide for five dollars as DLC, which, yeah, their choice to do, but that's a red flag with me. If you enjoyed what you played of it, cool. By all means let the dev keep the money, but if you feel betrayed or underwhelmed, in my opinion refund it.

Some would say that's cruel, I say it's your way of telling 'em they made a shit game and to try harder not to wear boots bigger than they can fit in. You didn't pay 10 dollars for a game that's half decent. You could play free games that would give you more enjoyment, you could almost buy Shovel Knight with that amount.

wildstar has been around for like two years and it still sucks afaik

The free to play version they've been working on looks pretty good, and now after experiencing it, I can also say it is pretty darned good. That's just my opinion, though.
