@Bizarre-I can see where you are going with it, but it seems to lack a lot of detail. It should have more than just two islands, have multiple ones, maybe some small ones, to cover the area. Maybe use autotiles for the islands too, so you can have more stuff on them. Has potential but needs to be improved.
There will be more, I only had 24 hours.

I only ever played Diablo 1 on the Playstation, which wasn't as great an experience as it would've been if I'd had it on PC...
I didn't even know it had a Playstation port, jesus christ.

Here's old old old me. 8 year old me.

Or this, if you like...

Or my first real action platformer. Also, 8.

What videogames are on your TO PLAY list?

I will be playing Undertale soon, by Toby "Radiation" Fox, of Homestuck Music team fame, I played the free demo back in April and liked what I witnessed.

What are you thinking about right now?

Trying to shut down the conversation with animal pictures is probably more childish than anything that was said during that conversation.

Just sayin'.
To be fair on Lib, she's been given the golden responsibility of playing game after game generated from IGMC. Most of which are either mediocre or pretty terrible.

She needs the cute pics. I know that even I would if I were doing what she is right now.

@Nhubi: oh god that image is the one I used for the "INTELLIGENCE: HD" april fools joke.

Here Lib, some on the house! These ones are a bit more exotic.

Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!

Been rousing my employees into doing things! Xiie is working on updating the HUD to be less MSpainty, Aku is doing some replacement work, and finished Xepps faceset, so this game by the end will have very little by me, artwise!

Hell Keep starts playing in my head.

I found a really simple to use enemy capture system, now I want to make an RPG based around it >_>
This happened to me with Victor Sant's platforming script. Ultimately as one might guess Victor Sant is kind of a cunt and his scripts aren't incredibly good, and trying to get him to fix them is like contending with a version of me with no self-awareness.

And so Cat Astrophe went nowhere.

I'm now sorta working on a progression Sandbox in RPG mak VXACEru.

But essentially I'm mostly thinking on how to proceed with P:A, beyond refining the writing a lot.

Perfect spot for a fishing minigame.
I like how the pond has depth!

I love RTP when it's recolored well enough! That looks really nice.

Here's a screenshot from my 24hr contest game. Flight!

Has a dungeon, lots of unique art and stuff, pretty happy for what me and my friend Curtis got done in such a short span of time.

Will probably fix up what remains bugged and put a demo up here sometime.

What are you jamming to?

I can't get enough!

Move to somewhere with 99% muslims with laws that forbid any religion but Islam (and assuming you're a Christian) instead, and what do you think your (short) life will be like?
So, my sister (American and non-practicing Christian) worked and lived in Saudi Arabia for a few years with her husband. They're not big on atheism there either. She was able to live just fine, although obviously she wasn't outspoken about her beliefs - it seems to be a more or less unspoken rule that you just shouldn't talk about being non-Christian. There's a big demand for American teachers in SA right now, because there are a lot of rich people in the country and they want to be able to work with English-speaking countries, so maybe that's why they're okay with non-Islamic teachers. She lived on a separated campus with other foreign teachers (Americans, Canadians, British, other Europeans). On the campus she was allowed to wear casual clothing, there was a swimming pool, etc.

Now this is all secondhand knowledge from her, but it's not an exaggeration to say that the country is not equal for women and men. My sister was not allowed to drive, bike, and was often entirely separated from men in public shops (although having a husband with her made things easier). She was required to wear a burka and was yelled at by police once for her face not being covered on the street. She was never beaten or harmed or abused by the police or other men. Apparently there is also a psuedo-caste system, where native Saudis are treated better than foreigners like Americans, who are treated better than immigrants from nearby countries such as Pakistan.

Anywho, none of this really matters. Living in Saudi isn't some immediate "death sentence", although it's certainly not going to be friendly to people who are used to the freedoms and relative equality we have in America or in other countries. And none of this justifies Islamophobia and the racism that's tied to people who "look like terrorists" against Muslims who live elsewhere and don't follow and act on the harmful parts of the religion. Saudi Arabia doesn't sound like a place I'd care to live, but believe me, I have strong doubts that countries with governments centered around fundamentalist Christianity would be appealing either.
What a lot of people tend to forget too is that the Media does the best they can to demonize Saudi-arabians, or really anyone from Pakistan, Iran and the like, because America is over 75% religious, either in catholic or christian faith. Those stories of bombings and shit sell well because Christians are a lot of the time, somewhat insecure, and reading that let's them feel like 'yay christians aren't the bad guys'.

I don't think either is really better, I know this is old news but the Crusades and Inquisition (both wars of either a christian or catholic faith) probably killed far more than islamic religious extremists ever have, notice how people just won't let 9/11 go? And funnily enough, think the terrorists are the ones who made the first move? Contrarily to pearl harbor (which was totally a dick move by Japan.), America started that one when Halliburton's CEO (Dick Cheney) wanted to get the Oil in Syria without paying, thus killing almost a million civilians or otherwise to reach that goal. They had more than fair reason to be pissed, of course the Media isn't so open about that.

So essentially 9/11 is whining about 2000 Americans dying, when overseas hundreds of thousands died just to make you feel a little better and get you some oil and a debt that has so dramatically pushed up college tuition fees that you are boned if you live in a poor family and can't pull a Steve Jobs.

1.7 trillion dollars of your debt is to his credit. Here's me sourcing this, see: Political Influence for that section. There's also a lighthearted but still hard-hitting video that goes briefly into it.

There's also this one.

As for what I'm thinking about? What I'll do first now that I've got some time offa' school, of course!
