You purposely uploaded a game that you knew was pretty bad? Why wouldn't you just ask for advice on how to become a better developer? Seems the easier route.
Because sometimes (well really all the time) you need to play something to know how it needs to be improved. But uh I think people should be allowed to show off once in awhile, get something out there regardless of quality/creativity. A lot of people like to hear things people didn't like rather than hear what they *should* do. So this review is fine.

Well now he's apparently monitoring them, problem solved? I think your expectations are a little unhealthy for what reviews are all about. Like wtf bro, we aren't publishing these reviews onto fine print that you paid money for or something. They're reviews made by amateurs made for amateurs, relax and let it go. The staff has made a necessary adjustment, and I think new people could use a break from people like you, or you should take a break. Whatever, your holy crusade sucks.

I do think, however, that newbies should save up their "enthusiasm" for a little while, at least until they feel more confident about what they're doing, about the environment they are in, before actually taking part of it... Swimming can look like fun too, but if you plunge into the water head on without knowing what you're really up to, you'll probably just sink like a rock and drown.

Expecting brand new people to adhere to such a specific mindset is pretty dumb. I could spin this around and go on about "getting your feet wet" due to people not wanting to try. This is an open community, the most you can expect is for everyone to read the rules and stickies, that's it. Feel free to PM every new member your thoughts though.

I would like to point out that these review "discussions" tend to be more important and related to the site than 90% of the forum posts. Yeah it's usually reviews of reviews but I kind of like it that way, still shows that people actually care even if it's sometimes done in a negative way. Better than nothing I suppose.
