RMVX ACE: How to pan screen back to origin?

Is there a way to do it by actually scrolling back instead of "instantaneously" like that script?

RMVX ACE: How to pan screen back to origin?

After you make the camera scroll away from your character, how do you make it automatically centre back on to your character like "pan screen to origin" in RM2K3?

Legends Of Illarion: Nostalgic Remaster Edition

Yeah sorry that was the very first map I ever created in RPGmaker, so I got a little overzealous. Plus I kinda wanted to created a feeling similar to the real Troll's Bane in the MMO.

I would have changed it to make it smaller, but because so many events and things are scripted for that town, it would have taken too much work to adjust everything.

Legends Of Illarion: Nostalgic Remaster Edition Review

Thanks for the more detailed review. I'm glad to hear you took the time to play through it again and write about it. I totally agree about the overly difficult puzzles and the repetitive hide-and-seek quest. The Tower of Enlightenment "quizzes" were admittedly unfair. Too bad you didn't like the temples of the Younger Gods though, as they had some of the more innovative puzzles.

Most of the info about the Chronicles and background story can be just found on www.illarion.org on the right side panel. The Chronicles contain information about people and events that happened in the real game. You may find some entries (year 1 to 10 probably) related to mostly the first half of my game and its characters, but not about the second half or the gods part of my game.

The Story/Gods section will contain everything related to the background used in my game. Basically, anything about the gods or their story in my game that is not found on those pages was created by myself and did not actually happen in the real Illarion itself.

RMXP characters in RMXV/Ace Tilesets

I see some RMVX games using RMXP sized sprites. Do they usually just use RMXP tilesets as well? And is it easy to convert XP tilesets for use in VX Ace?

RMXP characters in RMXV/Ace Tilesets

RM2K3 was the last program I used, and now I'm just starting to use RMVX Ace.

I want to use RMXP characters because I don't like the tiny VX ones. However, I want to use VX tilesets, because I just don't like the look of XP maps as far as I can tell. Is it common to use XP characters in VX maps? Is it stylistically acceptable?

I think I've seen some screenshots of RMVX games using RMXP characters but I can't tell if the tilesets are VX or not. Can you recommend some games that have this?

Volunteers! I need some.

Just to let you know, if it isn't the same with others, for me it tends to crash right when entering a battle, opening the menu, or finding/recieving an item. But mostly it happens right when entering a battle.

What are the controls for RMVX games?

Thanks for the controls.

Also, be careful when making topics - you've made three by accident.

That's a bug with this forum's captcha system.

They never state the controls because the controls are stated in the official program help tutorials.

That only helps RM developers, not the other people playing their games.

What are the controls for RMVX games?

I've searched all over the web and can't find the answer to such a simple and basic question. I'm surprised more developers don't include some kind of basic manual and just assumes everyone knows rpgmaker shortcuts. I can only imagine how many potential new players/developers to rpgmaker games may have gotten frustrated and turned away by such a simple bad first impression.

Using arrows to walk and enter to select might seem a little obvious, but not things like the cancel/menu button or full screen. More importantly, how do I EXIT a game, when the creator conveniently took out the default menu and title screen, and didn't bother to put an exit option anywhere? Is going out of fullscreen and closing the window manually the only way?
