Final Tear 2 remastered

Hello, you can find an old version of FT2 in rmn contents: https://rpgmaker.net/content/games/5939/downloads/. However, this version is not the most recent (it's version 1.2 upgraded in 2014 and a 1.9 called "extended version" was on the official website at an older date:
You can find a 1.3 patch here: https://archive.org/details/RareRPGMakerGames).
Here is an history of the ptches release (none of them is available on wayback): https://web.archive.org/web/20050530012718/http://www.sunburstinteractive.com/users/ft2/download.htm.

Castle Oblivion: Remake Review

Luiishu really did an amazing job reviving this saga.
Though I didn't play this one fully, I keep fond memories of the third one (https://rpgmaker.net/games/4242/), which was really good. Having a good punchline/expression really helped immerse (~ you may enter the castle, but never leave it). And it was well written, as far as my english goes.

So thanks for doing it a favor, Addict. :)

That's a pretty shot for sure. I don't know if we will see it in game, but the water reflect has got a nice color, too. Good luck for the beta!

Does anyone even use RMVX any more? I feel like all the scripting knowledge I've gained is irrelevant now.

Games are still released with VX, too...
Bloodstained Hands (well, just saw it's yours... I'm leaving)
Rusty Soul
Which is not so surprising considering that some people would rather continue their game (often long projects) in an engine they know well. And also, though VX is not popular (can't hide it), it's probably one of the most straight (it's got the basic features, and even a little less) and a good engine to learn scripting (so much to do...).
As for the scripting knowledge in itself, it's not useless considering it probably got you some skills in ruby (rgss is not ruby but uses it as a base, if I'm not mistaken), and you should probably be able to switch really easily from vx to xp or ace (maybe easier for the latest due to improvements?) since they all use the rgss as a base (differences would probably reside in vocabulary and some minor changes). And as said Marrend, you can probably use this knowledge for other languages too.

To be totally honest, I didn't think someone would release an ambitious game in VX nowadays. Probably we will see other finished long vx games in the next years? After all, you must not have been the only one to stick to vx for their project (guess there is a difference with the way elements are handled in vx, that ace doesn't have).

Hello,
The only way to know if your 1-hour timing is doing enough pressure or not is by making other players test it. As a dev, your vision of the game's difficulty is completely obstructed by the fact you know everything about the game. Thus, your 10 minutes could be a median of 45 minutes, which would be less work for you.

Ok.

Here are the two that are probably just lost (Maia2k3 can really be found easily I guess):
- Quondam Warriors: https://www.grosfichiers.com/6EpKWfMBjt5
- Desperation of A New Era Part 3: https://www.grosfichiers.com/g3qNvcDULyP

Hello,

I've:
Quondam Warriors
Maia 2k3 (probably on this page's first post, since those are long time looked out games).
Desperation of A New Era Part 3 (managed to download the temporar link given last year by benos)

Boutalles and Forlorn Manor can be found on Wayback Machine : https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/22883/?post=926477#post926477.
You can find OFF on the french website Oniromancie.

A Lost Dreamer has been taken away by the dev and won't be put back. Some people still have the french version, but I don't think it's going to be shared. The only version you can find from this game is on the 2014 version of Alex d'Or, a french competition. It's very different from the later version though.

Puipui to the Rescue

The Wayback has saved the page for this game, but I'm unsure it has saved the online game once unity player is installed.
