Densetsu no Kusoge

Got the cards. Got to the castle, I mean, CONGRESS, got to the next room. I think I don't want to try every tile possible just now. But I will sooner or later.

What good Maker games did you find that was only listed in certain places?

An absolute gem I miss here is Embric of Wulfhammer's Castle. It got its own website, though.
http://wulfhammer.org/

It doesn't look like much, but it's incredibly good. And only gets better.
But it seems you are talking about engines? : D Still pushing this one out, though.

GT Mythra:The Beginning of the Sword

Well, I didn't expect a gem. It works and all, but the writing really has a long way to go. Characters sprites for dialogue would've been really appreciated as well.

On a sidenote, you'll be referred to as "he" in the end, even as a female.

Last Word (IGMC Version)

I will say I like the concept of these kinda games, but I've always hated the executions. I will give this one a try, though.

Ob Iter

author=calunio
This is the weirdest game name I've ever seen.

author=Arey109
P.S. The title name is really weird. What it means?

It's latin is all. "Iter" means way or journey, "ob" means toward/against or in order to/because of. So you can make something like "On to the journey"

I don't mind metal at all .. it just depends on what kind of metal they use. The usual heavy metal stuff is crappy, repetitive and boring imho, would spoil the game a bit. Other sub-genre could very well do the trick.
It does look interesting overall

Beneath the Mossy Stone Review

Well, that's how these kinda contests works. I'll be looking forward to extensions!

It's true that text-based games are hard to advertise, but that's another reason why I wanted to put that one out. They can be so much fun, too.

The Mess-up A Wish Foundation

You start off into the perfect world. Only, you yourself remain imperfect. The people welcome you, include you, but you cannot fully trust them. How can they be so nice? What are they planning?
You slowly, but surely grow paranoid, as the others around you live their seemingly quiet and perfect life. Soon, you go on a rampage and need to be put into custody for your own safety where you rot until you die.

Thanks for talking some sense, pianotm. As a side-note .. as someone who suffers from chronical poisoning, you do not want to have mercury in your homes. Ever.
Fun fact: there exists a lightbulb that has been burning for years. The wire is too thin by default in order to make it break sometimes. People will buy cheap stuff all over again, and it means more money longterm.

And by no means take it personal, Redmask. What we forget in these discussions is that it is not about the person behind it - but that many views are thrown about way too often for no good reason. And being unreasonable can be quite maddening.
It's not you, it's just the train of thought.

Also, while I agree that we need an energy shift, wind energy is by far the worst solution (except for fossil fules, perhaps), when it comes to emissions.
Don't go with "but it produces none", do not forget that they need to be built and maintained. As such, you need to produce large quantities of metal. Plus regular, expensive maintanance. They also have already reached their efficiency-cap. (I can't find the article in English.. but I honestly don't care enough to dig it up now). If I'm not mistaken they produce all in all more than other renewable energies.
And when it comes to CO2 alone .. nuclear is best. Ironically.
Acid rain is not coming from nuclear power plants, either .. They use water to cool their stuff down, that's what's coming out of their chimneys. It's coal and other fossile energies, but they form the the term power plants as well? I think.
It's only reasonable to be against power plants, but not for those reasons.

.. I digress. Sorry.

I agree that an icon can stay just the same as it has the same meaning and impact. Not to mention that the difference isn't that great anyway

What should go in a character focused game

Well, it was about RPG Maker games .. there aren't that many coming to mind I've played recently.
Halloween Bash, Vampires Dawn (German one, yeah.), In search of Immortality has already been mentioned ..

For general ones .. Persona 3/4 are the most likeable of those I've played. Tales of Symphonia.

What I've seen specifically in Tales of Symphonia is random banter between the characters inbetween story segments. It's a lovely way of reflecting what happened, going off-topic and just let their character speak. (if done subtly enough, of course)
Also prominent in Legendary Legends, the game is just about these guys talking and doing stupid stuff whilst trying to save a world.

Good to know there are so many people with good taste ;)
I'll see you around, then!
