You're a disgrace to every user here on RMN, dd33. I don't say this often, because I'm a great supporter of freedom of speech, but for you there's only one appropriate advice: Just shut the fuck up!
Time to resize all the animation.
Well, they say that transferring resources between Ace and MV is easy, but they never said it would be easy the first time when you "don't know what you're doing".
Numina, another RPG Maker JRPG in the making, was even transferred from XP to MV, and as a result, the developer and the testers struggle(d) with bugs on every map. Hopefully, you'll be spared from similar issues.

I prefer to listen to other music when playing JRPGs, unless they feature self-composed music, recorded by using an orchestra (or this really good software), which means I play most RPG Maker games in muted condition (I'm glad that you plan to provide the player with the solution to the music puzzle about which I read by chance a while ago). You don't have to get into debt just to change my customs.
Furthermore, I really hope these posts troll people into thinking the Ultimate Edition has been released, if it teaches them how to adjust the subscription settings and to ignore the "buzz". :D

Update - January 2019
I'm more of a "clean up after the release guy", but you can count on me then to find and document everything that has slipped through (within reason, of course, my all-seeing eye can only be used once a decade).

I think a certain software has been developed a few years ago. Just input the notes etc. for each instrument and it can play/emulate orchestra music so well that even professionals can't tell the difference between the software-generated and real orchestra music. There's this tiny hitch, though, that this software costs at least 10000 $ (at least it did when I read about it). Either way, it's "just" one successful kickstarter campaign before you can call a "pocket orchestra" your own. ;) And everyone else probably hires a local orchestra or one from a country in Eastern Europe. It doesn't always have to be the London Symphony Orchestra.
By the way, I was planning to write an article about my "ten most favorite RPG Maker JRPGs of all time", but it's probably a good idea to wait until I've played Umbral Soul's Ultimate Edition sometime in the future. No pressure. :)

New DEEP 8 Demo now available!
I highly doubt that, since the new demo features completely new mechanics and graphics (facesets etc.), but don't take my word for granted.
Update - January 2019
Thanks for the update. Since I check your facebook page from time to time, it was obvious that a 2019 release date should be due. However, I will wait for Theia: The Crimson Eclipse as long as it takes, so I'm sort of biased. Your new game belongs to a completely different genre, and I'm confident that Theia exhibits nothing short of masterpiece potential, which is why I opt for Theia's completion first. Theia will probably be the last epic RPG Maker 2003 JRPG to ever enter the English "market", and will most likely be my JRPG "golden shot". :)
Astoria: The Holders of Power Saga
Weak protagonists (at the beginning) and long cutscenes are JRPG staples. So why should a game be denigrated for utilizing these staples?
Furthermore, quest journals are a double-edged sword first and foremost. They're handy to have in games that feature dozens of side quests, but these games tend to offer mostly boring and tedious side quests (fetch quests etc.). Don't you write down your own notes? It's more fun this way anyway.
