For over 12 years, I have been creating my own video games and art. I started out by creating games on Microsoft Powerpoint believe it or not and then graduated to Rpg Maker and eventually to more advanced engines such as Construct, Unreal Dev Kit, and Game Maker. I have mastered Adobe Photoshop over the last several years and have become proficient in using Blender. I have a passion for creating, learning, and now teaching =]

Great read, although FF8 will always be my favorite game. That's where our opinions differ a bit. I loved both the relationships portrayed in FF8 and the subtle one in U3 so I appreciate both.

Help with my sprites?

I just opened up Photoshop and animated using the animation window and saved it as a .gif. Hope that helps you.

Yeah I dunno you'd think with all the light sources this small-ish area has it would be more visible. Maybe tone down the overlay a bit.

For the former GW/SWers
I was there from 2001-2009 and it started out a great place to be but then they pretty much abandoned the part of the community that made it fun in the first place. They started to consider rpg maker inferior and put a big wall and divide between rm game designers and "indie" game designers. I remember trying to tell them several times that it was a bad idea but they just talked down to anyone who had an opinion on the matter...it was kinda pathetic the way they went down. But that was really how it started, I even remember several topics were created to voices reason, that their handling was really incompetent but again they just brushed it all off. In a way it is in it's current state today because they just flat out chose to put on deaf ears, but honestly some bad signs from the get go was just how rude 80% of the members were to each other and this was sadly considered acceptable. GW pre 2005 was a thriving, productive place to be and after 2005 it went to garbage.
I immediately went straight here to RMN, stopped public RPG making for a year or two....enhanced and further developed my own unique style and now I'm back again. RMN has stayed true to itself so I hope that doesn't change.

@Orochii: Thanks so much for your support =]
You are perceptive thank you, the point of the trailer was to emphasize details of atmosphere and ambiance so I'm glad that was apparent. Also I never mentioned this but you can also attack the butterflies you see in that game-play video, just to point out the interaction I am going for. But maybe when I make an action trailer/proper marketing trailer you will see more of that sort of gameplay.
I can't wait for you to try the game out, thanks again!

P.S. If you stick around for the last 30 seconds or so of the trailer you see footage of the Ocarina and a song you can learn and its affects on the environment.
