[RMVX ACE] How to Talk to Myself
With Ace, there should be an option to "Show Console" under the "Game" drop-down menu. I've used the `puts` function to output to the console, but, I think you might be right in that there's a `print` and/or `p` function that might do something similar. To show a dialog box with output, you'd use the `msgbox` function.

Addded the LP of Heroes 3, but, I also wanted to add a bit of dream relay too. This was a pretty funky one too, and feel I should share it, somewhere even if nobody reads this thread.
So, I was part of some colony of individuals, and our group was the last, best hope to save humanity as we knew it. I was kinda new to the community, and today I was to be introduced to their leader.
This leader was somebody I knew/recognized, but, I don't have a name associated with that person. The only other thing I can recall is that I asked a rather peculiar question of that leader.

By saying that Ace and up don't resonate with you, and would rather stay away from them, doesn't that answer your question right there?

How difficult are people finding the first boss? It's absolutely possible to find oneself under prepared for it, especially since the game, at that point in it, disallows players to retreat to rest and resupply.

How To Get Custom Weapons and Armour into MV?
Make weapons and armor appear on the characters? Like, in battle? I don't know what manner of side-view script/plug-in you're using, but, there's likely some kind of animation involving the character using a weapon as part of the side-view plug-in. The animation tab would handle what is shown when an enemy/ally is attacked by a weapon/spell, as per usual.
As far as the point about equipped armor making a difference to a character's sprite, either in battle or out, I have no idea where I'd even start with that idea, nor could I be paid enough to consider making an attempt. A part of me thinks there'd have to make a different sprite for each character for each equipping armor, but, another part of me wonders if there is an easier method do to that via code? Like, notetags on armor on what sprite to overlay to the original sprite? Would that work? Would it look good, or just plain awkward?

While I find the fact that there's only one starting bonus to choose from odd, this victory condition makes me a little happy.
This is the last scenario in this campaign. I spend all of 8 in-game days (again, sorry about rushing this), thus achieving a score of 1675, and the title of Naga.
I feel I've already said my good-byes, but, here's the high scores again, for reference purposes.

Which Engine to Use for SNES Style?
How important is it to you that players can play your game on a phone? Is this something that EasyRPG can assist with, if you go with 2K/2K3? How do you feel about using Ace?
Trying to figure out which RPG Maker is best for my project (why why WHY did i buy VX Ace back in 2020. WHY)

Maybe I've been out of the loop but I'd consider 2k3 to be more popular than Ace at this time in history, considering that 2k3 still got updates while Ace is now forever frozen in time.
That's probably a fair assessment, though. I also wonder what the dead link rate is with Ace versus 2K/2K3. Like, there's an entire thread devoted to old/obscure games, mostly made in the early days of TsuK/TsuK3. Though, if I tried to visit one of GrandmaDeb's links, there's probably a non-zero number of dead links there, too.

The scenario description indicates that I should want to hunt down the Eversmoking Ring of Sulfur. The actual win condition is to defeat Melodia, though, I didn't necessarily know it was Melodia until the victory message popped up.
Though, if I were looking at the file through UGE, and noticed that she might have been the AI's only active hero, well, maybe that wouldn't have been such a forgone conclusion.
