I'm somewhere in the middle of playtesting another person's game, but, I do want to clarify that I've got a to-do list...

-check passibility of laptop
-Bless/Hour of Power base-effect HP restore amounts?

...when I get back to looking at this in earnest again. While I'm not exactly sure when the next gammal event is (IGMC wasn't going to be a thing for me anyway), that might be something I would want to get into.

Marrend plays Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete!

We came from different backgrounds, and have our own reasons for being here. Yet, our goal is the same: to eliminate Sandro. The blow against his forces was a deadly one, and now, we face off against his main army.

No doubt, he's already called for reinforcements. Speed, then, is of the essence.


Scenario notes/asides
Starting Bonus: <10 Halberdiers>, 3000 Gold, 2 Sulfur/Crystal/Mercury/Gems
Win Condition: Capture all enemy towns, and defeat their heroes (achieved day 5)

This was the last scenario of this campaign. I spend 87 in-game days, granting me a score of 1675, and the title of Naga.

This is also the last campaign of Shadow of Death, and therefore, we can close off this LP, such as it is. Here's the High Scores that I've achieved in this play-though.

I can't exactly say I enjoy how I ended up handling this LP, even if I mostly enjoyed playing the game, itself. Like, I re-read Heroes 2, and I was a lot more descriptive of what the hell I was doing with my turns, rather than what I was doing here. Which is more of an overall arc of what the scenario was about.

Well, something to keep in mind for next time, should one come about. I'm certainly taking a rest from LPs for a while! Thanks to the silent watchers that's kept up with me in this endeavor, even if it was a little rough at times!


*Edit: Nope, I was wrong. Another campaign was unlocked, entitled "Spectre of Power", and the campaign map kinda suggests four scenarios. Hrm. A part of me says I should cover it for the sake of completeness, but another part says I should just let it go.

Hrm. Well, it if was a game made with Unity by unity, I could see a possible need for air-quotes to help delineate the person from the engine. However, the engine was not specified in this trailer. The trailer assumes the audience has played Luxaren Allure (and they really, really should XD) with how it introduces Lynette, and thus might infer being made in an RPG Maker. Though, is what game engine that is used to make a game normally a thing contained in a trailer? I very rarely watch game trailers to begin with, so I dunno.

On another note, it makes me kinda happy to see that Housekeeping's agreed to contribute to Izland's soundtrack. I might not recall what he contributed to WaUtaH, but, I'm... mostly sure he did.

A suggestion on the gamepage. There's a few images that include a web address/link as part of the image description. While I understand that might be the official site for the game, it messes up how your images page looks, as well as the main summary page. My humble suggestion would be to change the descriptions of those images to just "Game launched!" While you could post a link in the image comments, there's a link already on the aforementioned main page. It's probably an unnecessary step.

As for the summary page, I think you can choose which images appear there with
Manage Games -> CLAWS KILL -> Images -> selecting an image -> Edit -> enable "Use as a homepage image?" checkbox? Sorry. It's been a while since I've done it myself.

*Edit: You might consider removing the link in the "short description" too? I'm not sure. Something is definitely mucking things up in the upper-right of the main page where the Facebook/Twitter/Print/E-Mail buttons are located. CSS issue?

2022 Misao nomination monthly data

I appreciate bringing those games to my attention, but, the number of games to nominate really isn't the issue I'm concerned with. It's the number of overall nominations made. I'm part of that problem too, so, perhaps I'm being hypocritical here ;_;

That said, this thread being on the front page (thanks, Frogge!) may direct some people towards that direction! We'll see!
