Five Random Thoughts About Video Games.
author=VerifyedRasta link=topic=1683.msg41117#msg41117 date=1225480517Are you saying CoD4 was bad?! That was the best Call of Duty.
Call of dirty 5?? I thought it was only Cock of duty 4
The 5th is horrible like I said. Animations are choppy, the sound is HIDEOUS (guns sound like pellet guns), and the movement feels stiff. It's like a bad mod made for CoD4.
And I'm really into Fallout now. The beginning is slow, but things have picked up now.

RMN3 Details: Mailbox + More (12/27)
That might be due to his resolution.
And that is really nice looking. I think the only thing that looks a little out of place is the black showing games, forums, etc. There's a black bar that suddenly "blends" with the blue/gray. It just looks odd I guess.
But yeah this is great. I like that layout a lot.

Did you live in New York City? I absolutely love New York City.
I talk like a Californian though! But not like Azn.

I think you're exaggerating, Feld. I've lived in New York, by the way.
It's more of a get shit done thing. If you go "HI, I'd like a UMMMM....AND....THAT..." instead of "gimme a *insert the word*", you get looked at funny. Maybe Philly is different, I dunno!
I hate where I live, though.
"I'll have a coke"
"what kind?"

On Dark-Dominion, which I believed to be basically the ENTIRETY of the community at the time. Does anyone else even REMEMBER Dark Dominion??
Whatever happened to Bloodrose? He was the guy who made "Until My Finest Hour" right?
He made some pretty sweet games.

Looks like everyone wants to share their story while sitting down near the campfire.
When I got into computers 10 or so years ago, I searched for free games that were similar to the SNES games I loved. I found a few, and some still inspire me today (Neophyte!). I downloaded RPG Maker for the SNES, and messed around on it.
Then I found RPG Maker 2000, but I never really did much in it. I only played games that were being made on it (Power Trip, Dawn of Darkness, etc). When 2003 came out, I figured I'd try my luck with a game.
I've been to a few communities (rpg2knet, lunatic gaming, GW) and I actually posted my project once years back. I've been around for about 6 or 7 years, but I have nothing to show for it.
Actually I do but I don't post about it. All I do now is looks for things that inspire me, which is hard to find these days. But I've made a few really good friends, which is why I stick around. And some of the best games I've ever played have come from the RM/indie scene. It's pretty amazing.
And these posts are too long.

No, the Gamecube sucked. If you have to mention MELEE just to save it, then that's pretty bad. It's the best game on the system, you don't have to mention that.
You can't name a good game on it that isn't a first party game. Maybe Tales but yeah you probably can't name 3-5 games.
SNES was a really really good system though.
