2-4 a year? It's certainly not a high number. Maybe more if you count rewatching ghibli films.

You also get the loop of "Started a game a while ago, skills are much better now" "So now the earlier parts look sucky and I got to remake them." "But now since it's been so long I have new ideas and new skills and I'll remake the rest of it."

And then nothing gets done because they keep remaking the intro and the beginning, trying to make it perfect.
