Creatio Ex Nihilo: Aition, an RPG Maker 2000 game on steam. Someone's charging money for this game. There are immensely talented people on this site who can poop out a better game for free.
It's not an asset flip, so that's something. I guess I'm just annoyed that someone would charge for it. It looks like someones first attempt at an RPG Maker game.
Hali's Review Thread (Request Your Game!)
If you wouldn't mind. I'd like you to review my demo so far.

It's a Saga Frontier 2 fangame. but you don't need to have any prior knowledge of SaGa Frontier 2.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I've been having many a late night playing Earth Defense Force 4.1. It's so bad it wraps back around to being awesome. The gameplay is simple and addicting and there's something cathartic about shooting the ever loving shit out of giant insects.
I've also been playing Secret of Mana on android while I wait for the remake on PS4 and PS Vita.

I was planning on using that style of tilesets for a small project I was working on, though your maps are infinitely better. I look forward to seeing the finished game.
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
They recently released Romancing SaGa 2 on console and PC. So I've started on that. And I've been brushing up on old Fromsoft games. I've been playing Shadow Tower. I also bought a little game on steam called Tormentor x Punisher. TxP is a fun little time waster. If Hotline Miami is the Drive of video games, then TxP is the Ghosts of Mars of video games.
Shadow Tower is quite absorbing, despite the controls being a little clunky. One thing that many see as a detriment to the game, but which I find helps it is he lack of music, it really helps build atmosphere.
Romancing SaGa 2 is everything you'd expect of a SaGa game. The only thing that has really been updated is the map tiles and the aspect ratio which makes everything look a little janky. But it really doesn't take anything away from the experience.
