I do agree that in practice I like all game files to be standalone and not require additional downloads, but the problem is people don't take the time to add the RTP, and then remove all the extra files. I very much doubt that a lot of games that include the entire RTP use every single file from it.

I'm all for not including the RTP (as I have it installed and it seriously bloats the file size), but I'd wait for the other judges to weigh in. If possible, I'd suggesting just including the parts of the RTP you used. I doubt you used all of the animations or all of the music, and that's what really adds up.

They're certainly nothing wrong with updating a contest game after the contest with stuff that had to be cut due to time. I've done it, twice.
I'm going to have to test and see if my crappy old laptop is capable of it, but I've been kicking around the idea of attempting to stream while I judge. No promises yet, but I'll most likely at least try it.

^ You can sign up and then turn notices for the event off in Account -> Subscriptions -> Events. I know Maki did that for the last contest.
But I'm pretty sure I've signed up last minute for an event before with no problem.

Peoples' Choice voting will open up at some point in the next day or so, and expect a podcast about the results within the next few days.
Is this still a thing that is happening at some point? I assume it's just a matter of December being one of the busiest months of the year, which I fully understand, but I was just curious.
I'm waiting for my game to be approved.. It's taking waay to long.
Did you include the mandatory three images and 500-word description? I don't think it even shows up in the submission queue if you don't meet both of those requirements.
If the people woud aprove my game... I could put downloads up!
It can vary greatly, but a profile a friend of mine submitted recently took approximately four days.
