Ahhh, I feel like I should be able to guess my secret santa, like I've seen the style before, but at the same time, I have no idea. Either way, I absolutely adore it to pieces for it is incredibly adorable.

I can't say I'm surprised. I was pretty sure the game would fall well outside of your tastes, which is fine. I'm well aware it is not a game for everyone. It is definitely aimed at a very small audience. Actually, it's not really aimed at an audience. It falls completely in the realm of our own tastes, haha.
Not every ending will be romantic and there is an overarching plot, but it would have had a romance tag if such a tag existed on rmn.

I suppose we forgot to mention it in the profile, but that would be because there is currently no sound implemented. We just didn't have time for the purposes of this demo. Same with the sketchy backgrounds and lack of emotions for all but two characters.

First off, thanks for playing and enjoying the game.
The other characters will have emotions in the finished version as well. It takes a fair bit of time to draw/code/pick the different emotions (fun fact: it took us nearly four hours to pick the emotions for just those two characters), so it is something we didn't get a chance to do. As it is, Geode and Emi's emotions will probably be expanding as we found we didn't quite have the required range for them.
And yes, guilty as charged on that one. An entire race like that is a bit frightening...

I did my best to give the game another proofread, fixed a bunch of typos and a few bugs, and updated the demo. I probably won't be updating it again until the finished game unless something major comes up.

"ey"/"em"/"eir" was the solution we went with for gender-neutral pronouns. As far as Obsidian calling you Topaz... whoops again. Is it that same scene unity kept finding errors in? (Topaz is the default name if you just hit enter FYI.)
edit: Oh, I see. It was mostly early scenes when we were not sure how to do the name thing. I counted three total in my quick scan play? I'll check the actual script files once I am home and have access to the files.

The PC's gender was supposed to be intentionally never stated, so their gender can be whatever you decide. That "he" is very much an oops. Curse English and its gender-specific pronouns (see Tea).

Was it a proper crash, or an RGSS3 error? If you can recreate it, a screenshot would be appreciated.
Maki has gone to bed, but since I was watching her play, I can tell you it was a "RGSS Player has stopped working" error immediately after saving.

Edit: annnnd, it's up. My pillow awaits. Procrastinating and then working on a game for 16 hours straight. Sounds like most deadlines. I expect at least one oops to be found.
