More Problems...
I don't think it will make a difference, but you can try putting the 'x + width' in brackets ( ) just to make sure it's evaluating that before creating the range.
What are you working on now?
Just finished all the "condensed" events so the entirety of my Game Gale entry is technically playable. By condensed I mean... cutscenes only exist as one text box of "Why hello there cutie; wanna go fetch questing?!" or there abouts. The plan for tomorrow is to hopefully get them all replaced with the script my partner-in-crime has been working so diligently on. Step after that is to finally come up with a title so I can actually get a game page up. D:
Game Gale 2010
I've got the planning and some rough maps done, but nothing pretty and no game title yet to make a page with. Hoping to finish the majority of production this weekend so next week can be polish and testing.
Game Gale 2010
I'm in with Makio :3 We've already got a very rough scenario and gameplay planned out this morning. The last time we did a small project with a time constraint, it was quite fun and we actually got stuff done.
Quick VX Scripting Question
Ruby in 30 minutes or your pizza's free!
It is to my understanding that modules are mostly used by community scripts to hold a bunch of constants for use in easily customizing or inputting data.
Also of note, you can't create an instance of a module, but you can access their constants and functions anywhere. So you could call Kenton.helloworld or Kenton::h from any other function.
That said, this was an interesting read. I already knew most of this, but there were a couple things that were new to me. Like class variables; I had seen them in the base scripts before, but I had no idea what the @@ meant. That's what I get for learning ruby from studying rgss using past knowledge of c++ and java.

RMN Snews - Issue #16
I was half expecting this to be a "special" edition given the date it is in parts of the world right now.
And since I'm commenting anyways, I'd just like to say as a some-what lurker, I enjoy reading these, even if I've never commented before.

[Recruitment] Thank you sir, may I have some badasses?
Sounds easy enough as long as you know how you want it to look. I'm don't really care for interface design and such, but I have fairly extensive knowledge coding in VX. I'm already working on my own project and doing "this and thats" for someone else, but this doesn't seem like it should take me very long.

A question about the scripting: Are you looking for someone to design the menus/interface/etc or are you just looking for someone to code what you need?
