I do believe the shaking of the screen and blackness was intentional. To give some sort of variety, this would be a fairly neat feature if it all was done to the music...

Which of course it isn't...

My stuff comes from a variety of sources. Usually an off-hand comment about something. "What if" is a common phrase. So naturally a lot also comes from everything Science Fiction.

When it comes to gameplay I'm mostly inspired by role playing games (of the tabletop variety) or boardgames. Occasionally another video game will inspire me, usually in the context of "what if we took this system found in this game and put it in a completely different setting?"

But it's the small things that inspire me. I see a snowflake melt on my skin and I think "what if snow was some kind of alien assimilation virus so that whenever snow melted on you, you became converted into one of the hive mind?"

I was wondering first but then I clicked the link and saw that it was a mod, which probably makes it pretty awesome. (and also cannot upset all those L4D fans since it's fanmade and not something that Valve did)

I need to buy L4D2... Perhaps in the summer.

- Have twelve episodes of the interview series out over the year.
- Make a game. (considering working on this game chill thing is great fun this is not entirely impossible)

I don't really have any huge goals... Yet. I still have a couple of days to come up with something really good.

TOMORROW I'll start on my game...
