STORMCROW'S PROFILE

>look StormCrow
You see not a bird but an American lady who likes other ladies. Oscillates between shy as a mouse and babbling violently, seemingly at random.
I like badasses. I like babes. I like badass babes the best. Okay...actually I like doggoes the very best, but I aspire to make games about badass babes is my point.
I use music from bands and artists in the free games I make: the frustrated filmmaker in me is very enamored of scoring scenes with rock'n'roll soundtracks Scorcese or Tarantino style. In addition to being a time honored tradition in cinema, this has a history in AAA videoogames as well (for a really great use of it, see Bioshock: Infinite). If I was a millionaire, I'd totally license these songs so I could actually use them legally.

Steve Jackson's Toon RPG, Abbreviated
I looked into it a little bit, and I finally came down on the position that this is sort of SJG's fault for not having a QSR (Quick Start Rules). It's fairly standard in the TTRPG 'industry' to have a free packet called Quick Start Rules that is basically EXACTLY what you described here:
Like, that's exactly what a QSR is and if they didn't want to bother putting out a free QSR like most companies do with most RPGs, what you did here is just fine and that's mainly on them.
This is merely the "how to play" portion of the content. An abbreviated player's handbook. The game itself, the real game, is densely packed with info, additional gameplay mechanics, and add-on content. I more than highly recommend people buy the game manual(s). This is definitely not enough to run the game or really sink your teeth into it. It's just enough to guide players in the adventures I run in the forums.

Wow, that looks a lot like the basic engine/graphics of FF7. But better. Immensely impressive. But actually I care about story more than graphics so tell me: what's the deal with those lion men?
Dolorific: A House
I really like this page's CSS. I guess I'm a sucker for minimalism. (I KNOW I'm a sucker for the color black.)
If I were to voice one criticism of the overall presentation?
This is not actually a sentence (it doesn't have a subject, an object, and a predicate) but I don't care about that. What I do think is probably undermining the spookiness is that this fairly ominous phrase is followed by a...picture of a potted plant? Not only do potted plants tend to obey the laws of reality quite neatly, a pixeled image of a potted plant is perhaps the least ominous thing you might have followed up this fairly ominous phrase with. The overall effect seems, to me at least, a little silly.
Also, is there a reason the man is covered head to toe in rags and hooded cloak? Or would that be a spoiler? I only ask because if what you're going for is something like an ordinary man, like a Harry Mason/James Sunderland type, there are much more fitting sprites in that style. But if he's supposed to look like a medieval rag man/assassin, cool.
Final nitpeck: dolorific is an adjective, not a verb. So it doesn't mean "to cause pain or sorrow", it means "causing pain or sorrow". This is a subtle but important distinction, to us grammarians anyway. No one and nothing can ever "dolorific" someone or something (verb), but a thing can be dolorific: i.e. 'StormCrow's memories of RMN were mixed but ultimately dolorific'.

A house that seems to defy the laws of reality.

Road To Paradise - The Staircase
sure, sorry! (I WISH this project was generating tons of notifications, lol, but I'll go ahead and remove you anyway.)
Edit: oh, you probably meant part one of screenshotmageddon. Yeah, that WOULD generate a lot of notifications. Glad I removed you before screenshotmageddon part 2.

umm...yes if by "altering these texts" you mean rearranging the words inside the input box for a show text event command so that nothing falls outside the lines and making it look clean (over and over lol) then yes; if by "altering these texts" you mean in anyway editing or creating this typeface myself, the answer is no--this is just a font called Hack.
Killing Nazis
Kung Fury was a game? Was that before or after it was a movie?
I like the cut of your gib.
Oh, and I feel like Motoko Kusanagi would not even be mildly deterred by Nazis, like I think she could probably kill all of the Nazis in a single evening, a week at most. Of course, then again, Motoko Kusanagi (and Section 9 in general) is one of the most powerful characters in ANYTHING EVER. Actually, not counting works of fiction where cosmic powers and living divinities are in play, Motoko is perhaps the most powerful fictional character I can think of off the top of my head.
New Thought:
* Actual Cannibal Shia LaBeouf

Steve Jackson's Toon RPG, Abbreviated
Um, while Steve "Munchkin" Jackson isn't exactly a starving artist or anything, this is kind of piracy, isn't it? It's really good that you linked to somewhere people can buy the PDF and explained there was more content there, don't get me wrong, but...you are still giving away most of the game he designed for free without his knowledge or permission, aren't you? I've done some work in that industry, even if never for SJG, so it kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
(If it was say, WotC, I wouldn'ta said nuffin', but it's a well known fact that Wizards of the Coast eats babies.)

RUEDEFAUX Art
Damn damn damn damn rudefaux you are crazy talented. AMAZING stuff. Really impressive mastery of diverse styles and character and creature designs. Your ability to draw gorgeous people and hideous monsters with equal technical skill and aplomb is a rare and amazing talent. Definitely pro-level beyond a doubt. Do you work for hire or just on your own whims?
LOL! It's a shame I don't know you IRL rudefaux I suspect just based on these few sentences that we'd get on fabulously.

And honestly, I've never seen that character before since I actually don't watch anime haha.
But to answer your question, she was not. Lolistomp (that's her name) was actually based off a random outfit I threw together for a rave event at the last minute in the summer of 2013

A little short piece for guitar I did yesterday
Wow, senpai. Your guitar skills far eclipse my own. Not that I've really ever attempted to play anything that calm or classical (I'm less about the mezzopiano and more about the METAL POWER, but I'm sure they do anyway.)
Nice little composition!

PS1 Classic, anyone?
I actually thought this thread was about the PS...PS One Classics? PS1 Classics? PS Classics? Whatever it is that lets you download PSX games for your PS3/PS4. Which, incidentally, has been devouring my life lately.
I've got a lot of PS1 discs so I might want to grab a console that can play them. Depends on the price point (care to share?) and the memory card situation (likewise).
Nice! I lost my PS1 somewhere over the years. I'm pretty sure I still have my original SNES safely stored away somewhere though, and I think it might even still work.

I have no need to buy a PS classic as I already have my PSX and it still works just fine. Talk about classic! This is the square blocky PS, not the nice rounded one, too. The dark grey one.
