You see not a bird but an American lady who likes other ladies. Oscillates between shy as a mouse and babbling violently, seemingly at random.
I like badasses. I like babes. I like badass babes the best. Okay...actually I like doggoes the very best, but I aspire to make games about badass babes is my point.
I use music from bands and artists in the free games I make: the frustrated filmmaker in me is very enamored of scoring scenes with rock'n'roll soundtracks Scorcese or Tarantino style. In addition to being a time honored tradition in cinema, this has a history in AAA videoogames as well (for a really great use of it, see Bioshock: Infinite). If I was a millionaire, I'd totally license these songs so I could actually use them legally.

I'm pretty sure I've got a review that should have met the requirements for week two. Albeit, it's still stuck in the queue at this point.
My Ouroboros review was definitely submitted during Week 2. The site says it was submitted at 3:33 AM on the 25th, but the site's clock is five hours ahead of my local time, so it was 10:33 on the 24th when I submitted the review. I gathered from events and such that you guys generally give people a little bit of latitude in terms of time zone differences, since we don't all live in the same time zone as the site (GMT?). (I like rum and I dislike vodka so I don't want to get three cheevos for vodka and none for rum; I don't really care about the prizes all that much.)
My reviews for the Alpaca Dating Game (not its actual title) and Villnoire were submitted during Week 3.
What are your favorite and least favorite parts of gam mak?
And we all salute you for it, Mr. Anderson.
(Ah, I think you meant that was both your favorite and least favorite part. I get it.)

author=pianotmStormCrowNever play his games. He makes them as bad and as offensive as possible. He says he does it because he'll never be remembered for games he actually put effort into, so he just makes them bad.
I just played Kefka's entry in its entirety for some reason and man...what the fuck did I just play.
You know, how about just don't make them at all if you can't be assed to put any effort in?
Okay so the weird thing is (Kefka I apologize for talking about you like you're not here, don't mean to be rude) he definitely put effort into making it offensive and bad. Like...at least as much effort as it would take to make a decent game. So yeah that's...fucking bewildering. While I was watching the stream I was amazed at how quickly Liberty shut down his game, but clearly she knew his M.O.
Actually, (probably by accident?) there was a mildly entertaining bit of gameplay in the middle of uh... "Project 1". There's a little world map maze that you navigate by land to get to the boat to get to the airship. It was kind of neat.
What are your favorite and least favorite parts of gam mak?
So, as a general statement, I once heard the key to not getting bored or burnt out when devving is to vary what you're doing when you start to lose motivation, and I think it's good advice. Like, if you're sick of making maps, work on importing/creating/tweaking resources for a while. If you're tired of painstaking pixel art, switch gears and write dialogue for or program a cutscene. Whatever.
That said, I think there are definitely parts of indie game development that are more 'fun' and other parts that are more 'work', and that it's subjective from dev to dev.
Me, for instance, I find that mapping is really a chore (I have been around long enough that I CAN make really good maps if I really want to but I rarely find it worth the effort), and I get really jazzed when I'm balancing and tweaking gameplay usually in the database. This is why I love the sample maps in Ace (and MV which has even more, but I'm not ready to move on to MV yet). I almost always edit them heavily, but they give you something to work with so you're not just looking at a blank screen.
How about you?

(Oh, my other least favorite part, even more so than mapping, is trying to promote/market/hype your game. Doing it makes me feel filthy, not doing it means likely no one will play your game. But that's only game design related, not actually game design, which is why I don't like it. Anyway, whole other topic.)

Yay, I got a cheevo!
If it makes you feel better I wanted my MS too. :P
Jeez, what did kefkafeine do? (I did notice he finished his game like ten days ahead of anybody else, almost immediately actually, and I was like 'hmm...either that guy's really good or he's really bad!').

do we get makerscore award? =D
I am so sorry that i'm always the one who bothers people about it.

I think all but three people who submitted (Maybe pianotm? I'm not sure if Libby's LP reviews are part of the thing, and he refused to let people play it. Kefkafeine too, cuz it was kinda inappropriate, expressly disqualified. Utopia too, cuz empty world) get it. I dunno, though. My game managed to be a horrid mess.

Both are on sale on humble bundle for the next 15 hours.
Well that sure made my decision for me. 70% OFF? Yes PLEASE. THANKS Bluefeathr42, you probably just saved me about 60 bucks! I owe you one.
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
Recently wrapped up my third playthrough of The Last Of Us. Still think it's perhaps the greatest narrative achievement in the history of videogames (perhaps tied with Bioshock: Infinite) and perhaps one of the best stories ever told in any medium.
Don't have much to play right now, definitely nothing new. All that time's goin' to gam mak anyway.
I absolutely HATE the decisions Joel makes at the end of the game and I felt violated at having NO CHOICE, NO AGENCY in his decision...but that is an integral part of the game's greatness.
