Review Vote Guidelines
1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana

*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Hollow Woods Review

Yeahh. Nice game I liked a lot the surreal setting, final combat was hard! Still I did it.

Concerto

Ooops double post

Well, Nocturne WAS an RPGmaker 2000 game, it's just that particular version is not available in English to this day lol.

So who's Osahal and what are their games?

Oh yes, you are correct! It's just that I am familiar with Nocturne Rebirth... I forgot the original one.

Osahal made two peculiar dark futuristic Rpgmaker2000 games with religious overtones called E. Eve returns the Eden and D. Doomsday Door (both are easily available on the net). I was impressed because of the custom sprites/portraits/cutscenes and strange setting (also it is quite violent, but has some Akira references, so you may expect this).

E.
D.

Concerto

What a cool surprise! Only thing I DID NOT like of Nocturne is that it was not a Rpgmaker2000 game lol!

Jokes aside, I'll be happy to play this one! Well done.

I just hope someone will someday translate also Osahal's Rm2k games.

Broken Mirror Review

Once again thanks for your review! Took some of the feedback to improve the game. (though the extra inputs should've been available from the start, I just forgot to add them at the last minute)

Also, let me tell you that your reviews are pretty entertaining. Loved the way you drew similarities with my last project to highlight style peculiarities.

Thanks a lot, I have fun writing these reviews (een if you can probably notice that english... isn't my native language!), but I've even more fun playing these games.
This was good, I liked especially the graphics... and that ending!

The Way EP 1

Featured game! Cool! This was one of the first games I played and really deserves the award (even if 2nd and 4th are my favourite episodes... by the way I shall soon post the final, 6th episode review)

The Gift

Nice so far, only issue I suggest to put the dialogue window on the lower of the screen since many dialogues (like the one with the smith) are partially obscured by the upper left interface.

Card Games that were Doomed from the Start

I remember playing the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game, wasn't popular but it was fun and could even be played in solitayre.

Here three card games were popular...
Magic the Gathering (a friend of mine made money, now has two game shops, organizes tournaments and sells cards. And he still plays sometimes), Yu-Gi-Oh and... (SURPRISE!) Doomtrooper, Mutant Chronicles collectible card game! (ok, there was also a "Fist of the North Star card game" but ok, only for few, was hard to find).

Caede's Pendant Review

Honestly I rarely use RTP, this was for a jam where RTP graphics were a requirement, which honestly is probably for the best as I tend to get hung up on graphics and forget all the other things I need to do.

Okkkk now I'm even more curious then!
