Review Vote Guidelines
1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.

Thanks! Well looong time ago I played lots of these games to learn english, like The Way, Damon Legacy, a Blurred Line or the Alex ones... it's a pity that I missed games like this one at the time since they give an interesting rapresentation of the devs!

Hola! Yeah it has a peculiar visual style that made it interesting... but I still prefer our other Rm2k3 games and this is why it took me so much before trying it lol.
Anyway I hope you'll finish Vanity ;)

I thought I fixed all the map glitches in Lamia's Lair where you can walk on the wall, but I guess I need to go fix some more.
The game can definitely be intimidating with all the stuff to do. I spent a lot of time pacing and focusing the quests so they don't all hit at once, but there's still a lot.
I love reading stuff like this, so thanks for sharing.
Hey, thanks for the reply. Lots of fun with this game, just the house options and customization was a great feature, but yeah it is intimidating with all these activities and content! It's rare, because of the large variety of situations and challenges.

Way late to this, but thanks for the review! I'm glad you noticed the character portraits changing over time; adding little details like that is one of my favorite parts of game design.

the overlapping forniture (third person) is negligible
the floating (1st person) happened only once anyway not problematic
the fourth day one (that happens going back to third person after going in 1st) is the only one.
And I loved the vibrating walking of Lia!

Funnily enough...
I did have that exact same idea for a non canon bonus scene after the credits. The cutscene revolved around a breaking news report retelling certain events in the game but reframed as Chloe going on a killing spree. Never got around to the idea because I thought it would've been too confusing. Might add it in if I feel inspired enough one day.
You won't believe me but I was expecting exactly THIS! And for a second I believed I skipped a post credit scene! I mean there are many weird events, strarting with the bird right in the beginning... but anyway this surprised me because it was not the case!
