WIP'S PROFILE
I made this site and it's awesome. But I don't run it anymore. Now I'm just a plebe like you.

Hey look it's RMN3!
If you are seeing this now, it means the site is functioning. That's a good thing!
So what's new? Well in another move of restricting your personal freedoms, user titles can no longer be assigned. Sorry! We want to be able to attach our own personal flavor text for each user. No, we are not going to put immature/penis jokes in there.
But you can add some personal text that shows up in your user profile page. Go ahead and update it and try it out.
As a note, user notices are not in and functioning. I haven't had time to iron out a few small issues with them so they have been disabled for the time being.
The non-forum posts are also lacking additional features such as edit, quote, etc. These will be coming in the near future.
You will probably also find numerous things broken or really weird on the site. Please report them in the "RMN3 Bugs" topic in the Site Feedback forum.
It took a long time for this version to come up! We couldn't have done it without support from a few special friends. We're hoping this pushes us even further ahead than v2 did.

Hey does anyone have the first four episodes of RMNcast?
Not sure what happened, but podbean seems to have lost the first four episodes of RMNcast. We want to get a hold of these for RMN3's podcast section.
Let me know if you have them!

Hey where is my RMN3?!
Some of you might notice that this isn't RMN3. We had some pretty big things hit the fan while trying to put it up on June 6th.
At about 9 PM or so RMN time (that's pacific), RMN3 went live! Hurray! Unfortunately, RMN3 most likely has some performance faults inside it. That as well as a combination of our rapidly aging server hardware caused the server to crash within about 3 minutes of it going live.
Since that point, Ankylo and myself have been trying to eek out some more performance to possibly run it but that doesn't look like it will be happening. Our server setup is very fragile, a remnant of our past when we knew far less about servers. As some may know we host a few other sites off this same server and we don't want to risk destroying those.
So what is RMN3's future? Well the good news is that it is functional! The bad news is that none of you get to use it until we figure out our server situation.
Here's a little FAQ for you.
Q: "Why don't you just buy a new server?"
A: We can easily afford to get a new server, but there is a lot of setup involved with such an endeavor. There are also a few things holding us back that prevent us from doing so.
Q: "What kind of things are holding you back?"
A: Things I can't talk about. Business details.
Q: "This is just a cop out because RMN3 wasn't ready!"
A: Hey, just ask the few people who were able to see the site before it tanked. It lived!
Q: "When can we expect to hear more?"
A: As soon as possible. We don't like RMN2 sitting around like it has been so we also want to move past it quickly.

RMN3 Approaches June 6th! Command?
Hey RMN3 is coming out in about a week or so (June 2nd6th). Or so that's the plan. There are some exciting things coming along in the pipeline that we are hoping to show off as soon as possible, but you'll have to wait!
So here's the big question: what is RMN3? It is the entire site remade. Some code was borrowed from the existing site, but not much. Following are some of the changes!
No Game Releases on the Forum
The biggest, most "controversial" change. The entire attitude of RMN3 has shifted to "Do more with the site". Posting games on the site and on the forum is wasteless data replication and I don't like that one bit.
Revamped "Comments"
I say comments in quotes because honestly, they are the same thing as forum posts just not in a forum topic. They look the same, act the same, and work the same. The forums and "discussion" sections on the site have the exact same look to them. Discussion sections also have pages just like a forum topic.
Gamepages Are Cool
One of the biggest pushes in RMN3 was to improve the game hosting. RMN3 supports multiple users per game, which has been asked about since the first version of the site. You are able to attach other users in either a developer, assistant, or tester role. Developers get full access to your gamepage just as you would.
Unfortunately, I have to cut short some of the gamepage customization features I wanted to implement. In the future, you will be able to attach custom CSS to your gamepage that is applied to every page within your gamepage (blog, image gallery, etc).
I HAVE ALL THIS COOL STUFF
Users also have access to a Locker, which holds files. As your Makerscore increases, so does your Locker space. Everyone starts with a 10MB minimum and it increases after that. You are able to view other users' Locker and see the files they have uploaded. However, a user can opt for their file to be private which will make sure the file is not shown in the user profile. You are still able to link to it normally.
Game Subscriptions work again!
Currently game subscriptions are pretty much just favorites. However, with RMN3 you will be getting notices in your mailbox whenever a subscribed game is updated. As a game developer, you will receive a notice when someone comments on any part of your game.
I am worried that the flow of notices will become unbearable, but we'll have to see how that goes.
Just a Lot More Good Stuff
There are numerous things that just feel better about RMN3. The forum is an interesting spot because it is completely custom coded now to mesh in with the rest of the site. No more shit just working funny from the forum. There are no more crazy AJAX popups. Site messages are easier to see and much fancier. The staff has the ability to pin items to the frontpage of the site, so we can more easily highlight events, games, and so forth.
What's the Catch?
The catch is that it is coming fast and not nearly as tested as I would like it to be. There is a good chance some parts will be broken or not work as nice as it should. I apologize for this, but there is actually a reason for pushing things out so soon. And really the best way to test is to force unwilling participants!
A few things might not feel polished. But after the initial RMN3 release, I am going to continue to further update the site at a much better pace than RMNv2 was.
EDIT:
Delayed because I can't code fast enough and there was a ton to do.

Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii
I was talking to Brickroad about 20 minutes ago about the Wii port of Metroid Prime. They hadn't announced a release date in the US for it.
http://wii.ign.com/articles/985/985793p1.html
Nintendo announced today that all three Metroid Prime games will be available August 24th on a single Wii disc. The first two games have had their controls retrofitted to use MP3's control scheme.
If possible they should make it look as close to this as possible: (THIS IS A FAN MOCKUP)
http://www.vgboxart.com/viewfullbox.php?boxid=19073&boxloc=/boxes/Wii/19073_metroid_prime_trilogy-v2-orig.png
tl;dr Metroid Prime 1 + Metroid Prime 3 controls == yes
