Hi Friends,
I'm David. I'm a long time fan of indie games and especially RM2K/3. It's absolutely amazing to see what other have created here. I started gaming with the TI-99/4A computer with titles like "Hunt the Wumpus" and "Tunnels of Doom". Yeah...I'm showing my age here. From there, the classic old Sierra games like King's Quest and Space Quest were my favorite.
I'm working on remaking Tunnels of Doom with RPG Maker 2003, it an ambitious project giving this game an RPG story when it never had one before. In retrospect I probably should have remade Hunt the Wumpus first... it would have been a lot easier! (But then again... I'd want to give that game an RPG story as well!)
I'm looking forward to learning more about writing and character development here, as this is an area I can definitely improve on. So when I'm not doing my day job, I'll be here on RMN lurking and learning.

I'm definitely thinking about RPG Maker VX Ace for my next project. I'm so used to RPG Maker 2000 and 2003 that I'm reluctant to switch.

I really liked this part of the game, and I think Byle is my favorite character too. I hadn't used Podo on my team yet so I'm not really sure what he does, but I intend to pick this game back up when there's new content!

I've downloaded the game and will play it today! Looking forward to the old school experience!
Update: I'm lovin' it! I just finished the content so far and I've got Ashe at lvl 9 or 10 right now. I grinded gold and XP at the battlegrounds in front of the coal mines to buy all the characters the best available equipment. I've picked up Seri, Byle, and Podo as extra characters. Though I got Podo last because I missed the chest containing a book in the town of Soot.
I really liked how Seri learned new spells.. I thought that was a nice touch. I only died once at the Elder's house, I didn't grind first or buy new equipment before going into that fight!
I've subscribed, keep up the great work!
