[RMN Drama] The guy who made the Final Fantasy Mystic Quest remake is trying to sell it
I'll see if I can find the PM's of a so called "woman" who was romantically interested in me and wanted mystic quest scripts (surprise twist: it was probably him).
I'd almost pay money to see that and then pretend you extorted it from me.

How did your first game turn out?
Taking this advice to heart is a bad idea. You'll end up with a bunch of unfinished games that all have the same problems because nobody else ever played them and told you they are shit (except in the best case scenario a couple of your friends who won't have the guts to tell the truth).
These demos should be short finished games.

Still to this day I have a short implement -> feedback -> fix -> progress loop with high transparency for this reason. If you do that, you'll always know where your game is going.
RPG Maker 2000 Value! Is now out in English!
With some hard work you could become the next great indie game developer!
This line made me chuckle.
Gravity Friction and Apply Force Test
If you pay attention carefully, the Z-ordering is preserved (a character up in the air is still drawn above characters that simply have lower, further back Y). The two shadows are taken from the current system graphic.
At the very end of the video, if you pay attention to the lower right, you can see a couple of characters land atop each other. They can stand on top of each other.
You can disable gravity and they'll never come back down, or disable friction and they'll keep going until they hit solid blocks or people.

You're the only action RPG person I am aware of following me. You might as well since it will be good testing. If there's one or two odd commands you really need, I can put them in and hand you the advance build with swiftness.
You can put additional frames after the character sprite, 3 in a row. You can use those for the pose command, or in the weapon animation editor for Normal Sprite animations. It lets you put all 4 directions of the weapon's animation into 1 weapon animation. In event scripts, they're indexed by number so you can have them match standard event facing codes (0, 1, 2, 3) for some easy playback.

I spam the key I was using to make them jump. Since Force is additive, if you do it really fast it will launch the events like that.
