Tiara_Animated.PNG
These are the battle sprites for Tiara. She is the Lufia-like girl in this game. However, she is the first to be a swordsman. Also, I'll let you in on a little secret about Fantasia and Lufia VI's history.
Lydia was supposed to be the main character in Lufia VI as the first female descendant of Maxim to face the sinistrals. That would be really original, but It would conflict with the classic Lufia formula, so I stored her for another use. She was then reintroduced as the main character in Fantasia resembling Tiara in some ways.
Take a look

Feel free to download Tiara's sprites and try them out if you'd like, but They aren't complete yet.

Why? Show off whatever you got. The more you show, the more people can help you and give you feedback on what you can do. For example, Avee gave me some advice on how to design houses in my game, and I found out he was right so don't be nervous to show any parts of your game.
This game really does remind me of Lufia and the fortress of doom:) Do you plan on making the entire game like this?

Belumie.png
I know this creature. This is Belumie from Lufia III the legend returns. You did an awesome job recreating it:) It looks like you have great sprite skills also. I like the shading you did in them also. I hope to see more like this:)
Belumie was a monster that ate gold and was owned by Fugo(The guy who owned the mansion and tried to capture Dei the thief). When the characters kill this monster, its mother finds out and you have to fight it.
I know you didn't have to know that, but I have beaten 3/4 Lufia games so I have plenty of memories and knowledge of the series. If you ever have the time, you should play lufia III, its a really good game excluding the randomly generated dungeons. The Music is fantasic, the battle system is unique and addicting, the story is good and long, there are plenty of characters and multiple sidequests also. Its not as good as Lufia II, but this is one of the greatest in the series.

I appreciate that:) I plan on doubling 4 sinistals to 8. Wait until you see the finished version of this one. She may have new clothing on or something too.

This is an early version of a new sinistral that I am editing off of the original Erim. Soon I plan on adding more details and changing the pose to make her completely different from the other Sinistrals. Although I have no clue what her name will be, I plan on making her have very high attack strength and a wide array of magic. So, she will be one of the hardest bosses to defeat in the game along with the other sinistrals.
Project info updates
The world map looks really good and very large:) I look forward to the changes you're going to make. I am also starting to get jealous on how yo make the item systems. I've always wanted to do something similar in my game. Looks like I still have a lot to learn with RPG maker 2003.
Lufia Dawn of the Sinistral
Same Here:) Lufia III and Tales of Symphonia got me hooked on RPGs. I am very shocked on how you created this engine. That makes 4 Lufia games here, and here I thought the series wasn't receiving any love on RMN. I really would like to know about the chain-link system as well. However, is the game going to be in spanish only?
It would be cool if all the Lufia creators could collaborate on a single Lufia project, but everyone has their own Image on what the series should be. For example, my battle system is pure fun and I have good mapping skills (I can even replicate Lufia maps from I and II), but developing an epic, classic storyline is where my struggle lies when creating my game because I want it to be worthy of being called Lufia VI.
I may not be able to help you right now, but If there is anything you need to know about the series, I'm your guy:) This game looks like its going in an excellent direction with the videos, images, and demonstrations, I can't wait to see what you do in the future.

I like how you mixed parts of Lufia I and II's chip sets to give them a new look:) I also like the sound of how large it is, most towns in the earlier lufia games weren't Gigantic, but they had a descent size. I look forward to larger areas. Hopefully, this will lead to more town exploration.

I'll have to try XP asap. Do you have to pay for it or is it completely free like 2003? I won't change my program choice in the middle of development, but I still want to try it. When I get back to work on my game, expect to see a demo and an abundance of updates:)
Lufia_2.png
It sounds pretty interesting:) I also heard something about scripting used in it as well. Is it harder to navigate through than 2003? Also, is it possible to have round-based combat rather than turn-based?
I'll also try and upload some of my older artwork so that you can see where my characters come from.
