Phantasy Star IV was very difficult. The first time I played it was on sega genesis collection. It was the only one that could keep my attention. But, all the PS games are hard. Is the Inindo game the SNES Ninja RPG? I've also played Breath of Fire I and II, I can play III-IV on my Homebrew channel(Wii), but I'll have to wait until summer when I have some time(this is my Senior year in HS).
Shining Force II was hard as well. Thanks for the suggestions, if there are any more you know of, let me know. By the way, have you ever fought the Ruby and Emerald Weapons on FFVII? I plan on making the Lufia VI boss battles very intense, but they won't have a ton of HP and won't be nearly as hard either.

My plan is to make you level grind to take on bosses at some points. I know that people will grind, so I plan on making bosses medium to hard. I love difficulty because games are too easy these days. Here are some of the games that inspired my love for difficulty
1) Mega Man X and Zero Series
2) Final Fantasy III-VI, Crisis Core, and XII
3) Final Fantasy VII (Ruby and Emerald Weapons, Safer Sephiroth)
4) Lufia and the Fortress of Doom
5) Crono Trigger
6) Dragon Quest Series
there are many more, but I have always loved being challenged instead of having a cakewalk.
Lufia II did have some pretty frustrating puzzles. I love Zelda puzzles, but hardly any of them have made me think as much as I had to Lufia II. There were even times I would quit or go online to get a walkthrough because of some of them. Here are some examples...
1)Sword Shrine Puzzle :Red and Yellow Blocks
2)Elfrea Mountain: Flower Puzzle

Don't worry:) This will be a boss in the game. The girl in the pink hair is a Villain and is also a playable character. She has the ability to summon monsters and has a wide variety of elemental magic.

Good to see you back Gourd:)I was going to add the shield on her, but I had to make one first. I am aiming for at least 36 characters. I know it sounds like a lot, but I want to have a huge variety of them. There will be another blonde character soon because I drew one. I may also hold another character creation so that more people can submit some.

I am currently trying to make new characters and get better at working with their sprites. The Characters are at the bottom and are listed from top left to bottom right.
- Lydia(Remade)
- Kiki
- Bai
- Kattana
- Sayuri(NEW)
- Claire(NEW)
- Naga(NEW and unfinished)
- Ferkin
- Ryou
- Mega Man X(Bonus Character 1)
- Zero (Bonus Character 2)
- Claude(NEW)
- Glaedr

I am currently drawing how I would like Lydia to look when the game is finished. This is a huge improvement from the last pixel art I drew, but I would like to have some feedback.
Lufia V: For the Savior
That is 100% true. You have to have a plan and an image of what you want your game to be like in terms of graphic style, atmosphere, events, music, battles, and storyline. The plotline and puzzle designs are my main struggles. I'm trying my best to avoid cliches and add some nostalgic moments in Lufia VI so that it comes out being a truly great experience. I know how to do mapping, battles, some puzzles, and a bunch of other stuff, I need feedback on the plotline when I explain what its about.
Lufia VI:Echoes of Estoland
Ended? What do you mean? I'm only on a break. Also, several Lufia fangames have been announced here. I was the first one, then Dekar came with Lufia V, then Kiren with Lufia rebirth and gadesx with his as well. Trust me, they are anything but dead. I have been away from this project for a while because I'm working on a Platformer featuring several characters that me and several subscribers made. There are also some Lufia VI cameo appearances in it as well.
