TESTERS NEEDED!! (Sunset Canyon Act 1 and 2)
I will! You're one of the first people I had in mind as a tester. Avee is also good at pointing out flaws. I've had a handful of subscribers help me with this game since I announced it, so hopefully they test as well.

I think I remember this area. Is this Mt. Sabre? I believe this was the part where the people of that village were captured. By the way, have you added any new Equipment yet? Also, do you know a way of programming the rabbit boots (because they jump)?

This is how the new Stage Maps will look (as of now). I used basic shapes to do the shading in cornered areas. I used tiles that had a basic, classic look to it, so it isn't that detailed. The look of map is supposed to give an RPG map feeling (although you can't control the character).

@Avee
I love brainstorming boss strategies!!(I know you do also). I want the boss battle(whatever it may be) to be clever, fun, fast-paced, and difficult. I just don't know whether the boss should be located in the pyramid, or outside in the sand. I was also thinking of adding mini bosses. The Seaside Coast Boss in the current demo is difficult (you know what I mean). You have to have a good strategy. To beat him I would...
@Sana
A Giant Sand Golem is a fantastic idea!! I could have him throw his arms or head at you or something. Good thinking!!

- Repel his maces with the shield and let it hit him
- Use all slash waves, then either hide for recovery or follow one of the other strategies
- Slash like a maniac, then run in the opposite direction
- Spin Slash right next to him or over him to deal weak damage, but it is a rapid attack so it builds up.

author=DyhaltoI agree! This is an improvement. The only problem I have is deciding the Boss. I was thinking of a Giant Scorpion, Dragonfly, Poisonous Snake,a Reptile or some other Desert Related animal.
Yes, much MUCH better.
It looks both very sunsetty and canyony.

As an experienced Manga artist, I must say this is an EXCELLENT piece of work!! And, this is just the sketch of it. There is so much detail in it also. I am very impressed. Tell him to keep up the good work!

author=SanaThanks for your feedback Sana!! Now I can finally add more levels without worrying about the Sunset issue.
This looks so much better! Great job man~ :)

A recent Snapshot of Sunset Canyon. I based this version on an image I found on Google. There is no longer a foreground image, and the sun was added also. Although,I still may have to fix this.

I suppose this would help with the whole Sunset Discussion.
Draw background color adds color to the transparent sunset backgrounds( Upper Left).
Foreground image makes it an overlay. I can easily change the background color to change the whole sunset colorization.
This is basically how I create levels, add objects, place tiles, camera views, and multi-layered backgrounds. All I have to do is place them after I code them.
Tell me exactly what should be done (If any). I somewhat already know how to do it, but I want to know if it's right before I proceed to the other levels of this world. Although, the sky comes in a variety of colors as the sun moves up and down, so I can't get all the sunset colors in one background.Feedback on the sunset would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!

The Screenshot Topic Returns
author=LockeZYeah! I'll do that. The only problem is the foreground image covers everything, I can't fix that, but making the background like that only is a simple solution. Thanks!!
Try making only the sky orange, yeah
The simplest way is probably just to find a background sky that is supposed to be a sunset, instead of tinting anythign
