Just a bit brighter and more orange than red.
EDIT: I don't know how brightness is handled in Game Maker though. If the tint is an overlay, increase transparency a little.

Yes, the tint is an overlay. All I did was make it gradient, made it partially transparent, and changed the background color of the room. Thanks Avee!! I'll fix this and upload another screenshot. Anyway, how is your Crystalis game going? Right now I am at Portoa( town of water)(NES Version). Have you made that part yet?

I think the screen tint is just a little too dark and too red to depict a sunset.
Cacti are cute.

True. I will change that. Do you have any advice on what a sunset would be like? I have an idea, but you could help me make this a quick fix. Thanks Avee!

The Next World you will travel to after Seaside Coast. Sunset Canyon is a dry, sand-filled desert world surrounded by Canyons. This area's only time of day is sunset. It will be in the next demo soon!! The theme of the world will be in the Media section soon. Hope you enjoy!

Can't confirm or deny at this point, but there are four modes to Gold Saucer's Battle Square here.

Normal Battle
Special Battle (OMG SECRET)
Team Battle (Full party instead of single character)
Gauntlet Battle (definitely the coolest one, you choose a party member, and you fight 12 of your other party members one at a time)

Very interesting. I can't wait to try them all (especially the OMG battle). Something tells me that is going to be a HUGE surprise. Team Battle and Gauntlet Battle also seem interesting. I've always wanted to fight party members for fun! The more information you give, the more interesting this game becomes.

Thanks!! I wanted it to have a Classic Look. I took inspiration from several games and the result was this.

I planned out the Gold Saucer Battle Square events a few days ago, that's gonna have a big chunk of battle themes in it, plus some awesome fights.
Your going to put that in there? Cool! I remember beating that mode with Cloud. Trying to beat it with all the other characters was a pain due to the lack of physical strength. Cloud however, had Omnislash and other strong limit breaks that made it easy for him. Have you thought of doing any Character cameo appearances from other Final Fantasy games in the Battle Square? If not, don't worry about it. Anyway, I can't wait to see it. Make sure to upload a video of it sometime.Good luck!

Great!! Looks like you have everything under control.

There's gonna be like... 30 different battle themes. This one is one of the standard ones though. I still have the cut the second half into it's own track.
I look forward to it. There is an epic remix of FFVII's battle theme on youtube. I'm not telling you to use it, but this would be an intense theme to use. I will give you the link to it, but you don't have to take my suggestions if you don't want to. However, it does fit to a game of this quality.
