As is so often the case, I feel like you're not arguing with us, but with some horrifying liberal boogeyman that only you can see. Nobody in this thread at any point was screaming 'RACISSSSST" until they were blue in the face. The 'SJWs' that you're taking swipes at in every other post aren't here. Nobody has called you a sexist bigot 72 times before breakfast. Who are you even talking to when you make these posts?

I suppose I should clarify - one needn't be a screaming purple haired mega victim to sew the seeds of discord and resentment. There is also the subversive form of leftist identity politics, which relies on new, alternative definitions of racism, sexism, etc, a definition that depends on who (((they))) have agreed is more privileged than whom, rather than simple bigotry of any kind. This ends up scapegoating groups of people based on their victim hierarchy, with white hetero christian men at the apex of the "victimizer" class. It's really a shame things have gone this direction, when it used to be about socio-economic class, rather than race/gender/etc. Now, we are told "at least you're white, male, etc" no matter what happens to you, no matter how much undeserved scapegoating is piled upon this group of people which actually makes up about 15% of the population of the US, and a very small percentage of the world population. I know what's coming... privilege or something. I am not complaining about my personal situation. It is an observation of how people behave, who people blame, and how it's not at all constructive to scapegoat people based on factors they cannot change.

How do you differentiate your characters?
We go by narrative supremacy rather than seeking perfect balance. In a way we pursue fun imbalance over perfect balance. The imbalance suggested by the way the character was built in the narrative. But then you have to optimize the game's challenge curve so that it is easy if you choose min/maxed normal badasses (Terra, Celes, Locke, Edgar) and hard only if you go entirely with highly stylized weirdos (Relm, Gogo, Umaro, Mog)
