Of course, he just wants money. That's what his whole life has been about. That's why he refuses to sever his business relations even though it's required by law. That's why every cabinet member he's staffed supports privatization of whatever they're in charge of. The man's openly confessed that he has no idea how to do the job and he never intended to win the election.
Trump said he'd completely step away from his business. He's not president for another 2 months and it's a work in progress. Why do you say he refuses to sever his business relations?
Trump is a 70 year old businessman worth billions. He's not in this for the money. He decided to do the world's worst job for 4/8 years and he's taking no salary for it.

I don't "defend this guy" and certainly not fervently. I'm basically the only person posting in RMN who isn't freaking out, which by contrast makes me look like the 2nd coming of Pinochet.
These claims that he's KKK white nationalist, just wants money, just wants to go nuking everyone... it's silly. It's massively delayed over reaction to losing the election. The fact that I'm even giving him a chance contrasts me heavily with the vast majority of RMN.
I will criticize him when it's due. I don't like how he handled the Carrier jobs deal, for example.

It doesn't fucking matter. The country made peace with them, and they're honoring it. When Trump gets into office, he's said he's not going to. This country, we, us; we are the imperialists. What Iran is doing halfway across the world is none isn't this country's business. They're the ones making the effort for peace with our country. I don't care if they're sponsoring terrorism. We sponsor terrorism, too. I don't care if they have imperialistic tendencies. We are the biggest imperialists in the world right now. I don't care if they want nuclear weapons. We are the biggest threat of nuclear apocalypse in the world. Stop assuming we're the good guys. We're not.
The only people who have said that this "peace" deal and/or nuclear non-proliferation is actually going to work are those in the Democrat wheelhouse. Everything else points to a weak deal that has no enforcement, no teeth.
The US is definitely not the greatest threat of nuclear apocalypse. That's silly. There are no "good guys" as far as governments go. I don't know, but before Trump was in office, foreign policy wasn't made based on your paranoia, and we had a president that wasn't a warmonger. I know I sure as shit don't trust the news to tell me what's going on in Iran, and I definitely don't trust Breitbart to tell me. The fact of the matter is, it's none of your business what other countries are doing with their technology development.
The country agreed to peace with us. The only reason to break that is if you want war. That's how this shit works.

The worst part of all this is that the "alt-right" now seems to be accepted, or becoming mainstream. And those people are not good news.
This is a tad concerning. You've got a battle for the definition of "alt right" happening. There's a spectrum.
On one extreme is civic nationalism and merely providing an alternative voice to the MSM. On the other extreme is pure ethnic fascist nationalism. The latter extreme is, fortunately, tiny and insignificant, but they are making the argument that they are the true "alt right".
Even though compared to most RMN members I am basically the equivalent of Joseph Goebbels, but within the alt right, I am as left as they come. Civic nationalist, my kids will be half-asian and that pisses a lot of them off due to race mixing.
Believe me when I tell you that the civic nationalists (which is what Trump is) are far more numerous, significant, and influential. The KKK wing of the alt right have the same level of street cred as the Westboro Baptist Church at this point and they're not going to get anywhere. I actually suspect most of them are just meme-magic /pol/ trolls and/or angsty shitposting dweebs who will look at my smokin' hot Asian wife and slam me for race-mixing, meanwhile they are probably 45 year old virgins.
