Fire RMNblem

And fans complain that Fire Emblem had too many waifus and husbandos.

Write a poem for RMN's Birthday, win prize

I downloaded a game, but out of obligation.
It used mostly RTP. How can I be sure it had a foundation?

The title screen shows up, and so does the song 'Town 5'.
Games that never bother to change this makes me believe they lack contrive.

After ten minutes of cutscenes, which was filled with spelling mistakes.
All I learned that the bad guy was an ass, and the hero was a total flake.

Playing as Ralph, I went ahead to grind.
But the very first encounter was an enemy to mankind.

I had no skills and neither did the slime.
The battle was a clash of stats, yet it was not nearly balanced to it's prime.

I was killed in one hit, screw this game.
Leave a one-star review I shall, and will stick to projects with positive acclaim.

All I could think of when writing this:
“Has it ever occurred to you,' he said, 'that the whole history of English poetry has been de-termined by the fact that the English language lacks rhymes?”
― George Orwell, 1984

edit: Slowly fixing spelling mistakes, up late.

Porcupine Princess

lol, I just noticed the changed to VN maker myself.

I mean, the engine is still from Degica so I assume the use of RTP is still allowed. I could see how a battle system would work, but I would also assume mapping alone would make RPG maker the preferred engine for this... unless you don't plan to use that to begin with.

I'm interested for what you have to show with this change.

Won't run ERROR (FLOATING POINT DIVISION BY ZERO)

Hey, I can't seem to find where you are getting this error. Is it after trying to run the .exe or somewhere within the game itself?

Phantom.Negative

Sorry, I was on vacation and didn't have a computer to use let alone a file to upload. The game was accepted while I was gone.

Anyways, the non-RTP version of the game is now uploaded and can be downloaded through the link above.

Let's Play - Master of the Wind Episode 15 - Sad New Context

I'm really not into politics, and I'm especially not comfortable talking about them on an rpg maker forum.

But damn, was that election crappy.

And it's not just the results either, it seemed like both parties were willing to nominate the worst possible candidates.

Now I'm seeing a lot of articles saying Burnie would've won if he was nominated. Probably should've thought about that when he had a higher approval rating.

Please understand... I need time away from this.

That's too bad, but very understandable. At least it sounds like you're very confident you want to pick this project back up in the near future. I hope you can manage to relax and get everything sorted out. Good luck, and I'm looking forward to your return!

Hey, Thanks! I don't really want to exaggerate my condition, but I do want this game to be the best I can make it be.

Let's Play Master of the Wind!

Nice I loved your Clean Slate playthrough, so a commentary for MOTW should be amazing.

I'll check this out later today. Or more likely set aside an entire hour next sunday and just chill.

I was replaying Cave Story when this showed up in my Notice Feed.

Coincidence? I think not. Take this as a message from the gods, ESBY.
