Bloodsphere v.2.0?

I'm not really looking to spend as much time with adding more scenes and stuff (like for the characters), mostly with fixing common problems (Such as difficulty) so the game is more enjoyable to those that found it too hard. Adding more enemy groups and stuff might be something I could though. In particularly in chapter 1 since people seem to not like fighting just the chickens lol :)

Relic

Sadly I have encountered a game breaking glitch. In the fight in the staff room of Django's Cave. When the fight is over and the orclin runs away, it runs up to the water bucket then the game freezes up. I assume its because of the move event command being messed up from the bucket and thus freezing it up. Definetly a major thing to fix because I can't progress until that happens :(

I swear I have no idea why my posts keep double posting

I've been playing the game, still on chapter 1 so far. I'm liking it, I think the voice acting is pretty good (although it does cut out sometimes). I like the character of Scatto and his banter with Peeko, they are funny (I also like that you family guy'd it and only Scatto can talk to Peeko). I have noticed a few minor glitches such as the text going over in alot of the message boxes making it hard to read. Also, after you first get Arianna and are heading back to your house, if you try to go to the north path the message blocks that pop up are messed up, cutting off their faces.

Overall though, I'm enjoying it so far! Good sense of humor too.

Well that just double posted for no reason

I'm one of those dudes whose first game was an epic 40 hour long traditional fantasy JRPG (also a buggy juvenile rtp piece of shit) that took a year and a half to make and was probably subsequently played by about 50 people. The catch is that I actually finished it. Did not abandon my first idea or start over at any point; spent a year and a half and made it a reality.

Mind you, the game was awful. But all things considered, it came out way better than one would probably expect. And I think that the fact that I actually finished it is, almost certainly, what caused my interest to move from "making an rpg maker game for my friends and myself to be able to say we made it" to "making amateur rpgs for people out there to download and enjoy". Being able to hold up a finished product of that scale, however flawed, was an extremely powerful motivating factor in future works. It suddenly felt very worthwhile and meaningful; I realized I had done so much more than just make an interactive story for my friends, I had made an entire goddamned epic video game, and it felt really really good and I could totally do it again and do way better next time.

This. I'm still shocked that I actually finished my "super epic 25 hour long rpg" since 95% of people seem to never finish their first game. I also agree with the "I can do my next game way better", the problem now being I dont have as much free time to make another game :(. Life is sadly ironic.

Bloodsphere

If it's the creature I think it is, You dont have to fight it. The one that is in the mine in town, right? Because that is an optional quest so you can skip it and keep going.

Bloodsphere

Hmmm... I'd recommend maybe getting some relaxant and trying to use it on Lucian before the creature kills him? Or maybe try leveling the characters up more?
