ALPHAOMEGA247'S PROFILE
Was deemed by the Arishok as one who commands a great deal of respect. Was recently thrown out of a wheat field for going against the grain. Once conquered Rhode Island using a can of lima beans, a yo-yo, and a used copy of Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 3 on Blu-Ray. Is a founding member of the band Bladder Failure, whose hit single "Flushed From the Bottom of My Heart" spent nearly six minutes atop the Canadian Top 10 (until the software glitch was corrected). The Ban Game
I ban MajoracanKing for not having measuring spoons labeled "pinch," "dash," and "smidgen." I do. ^_^

I'm a dumb blonde (guys can be airheads, too), so I couldn't solve that Sky Keep puzzle to save my life. I had to have the strategy guide on my lap the whole entire time, and even then I struggled.
And my biggest problem with Fi wasn't her lack of characterization. It was the hand-holding. I don't remember if it was Sky Keep or the dungeon before that, but I distinctly remember coming upon a LOCKED DOOR and she had the nerve to tell me, 45 hours into the game, that I need a KEY to open it. And then, when I found the key 5 minutes later, that dumb-dumb suggested there was a 67.5% chance the KEY would open the LOCKED DOOR I had just passed. If you don't know that a key will open a door in a Zelda game... 45 hours into the game... you've got bigger problems than that locked door. If possible, I would have thrown Fi off of Skyloft and used a wooden sword for the entire game, just so I wouldn't have to listen to her.
Yeah, the Song of the Hero quest is what made me really cringe. I didn't like it, but the backtracking prior to that was at least tolerable. I expect a certain amount of it in Zelda games. But the Song of the Hero quest was too much. Tadpole collecting was awful. Link getting mugged by moblins and having all his stuff stolen... EVEN WORSE. I don't even remember the desert part, but I'm sure I hated it, too. XD
EDIT: So I don't come across as a total hater, I'll note that there are some things that I liked about the game. It was gorgeous, the relationship between Link and Zelda was great, the dungeons were expertly crafted, Groose was great, the motion controls were fine. Oh, and the music was excellent. That's something I look forward to in every Zelda game. Hopefully the Wii U version delivers on that front.

@Gourd_Clae: The girlie looks just fine (to me, anyway, but I'm no art critic)... BUT... She's obviously a different resolution from everything else and that gets my undies in a bunch! Hardcore. I'm losing circulation in my legs. D: Hopefully these are all just placeholder graphics? I'm going to assume that's the case, because I looked at your other project and it has an exceptional art style.

Though it's not my favorite, the fight against Demise was a great way to end Skyward Sword. Because after all the shit they put you through to get to Demise, that game really needed a great conclusion. I think that the motion controls generally worked in Skyward Sword's favor, but the game itself was filled with so much bullshit that I could barely stand to finish it. The fights against the Imprisoned, the backtracking, the awful, AWFUL final dungeon... and Fi... UGH.
Square-Enix Decides To Give All Of Its Fans The Middle Finger By Re-Releasing The PC Port Of FF7 For The PS4
Yeah, Bravely Default took a serious nosedive in the latter half of the game. I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to make the last few chapters LITERALLY repeat themselves, but they should be fired. You'd complete a chapter, get a minor amount of plot, and then you'd find yourself right back where you started at the beginning of the next chapter and have to do everything all over again (and I mean EVERYTHING, because every single one of those later chapters makes you go through every single dungeon again). Thankfully, I was Level 99 by that time, so I just turned off random encounters and blew through those chapters.

^ Likes Mexican hot sauce!
< Doesn't like any sort of heat in food. And wouldn't have minded it being Halloween, either.

author=nhubiI'd pay good money!
^ is delusional if he thinks anyone will do that for him.
What are you thinking about right now?
I had no idea what this Retron-5 thing was until just now, and I have to say, that is an insanely good gift. I'd love to have one of those in my life. I'd love to have a girlfriend like that, too... Ahh. Neither is going to happen. Sad feels.
author=LinkisDon't worry, I got that from my cat, too. I just love it when she shits NEXT to the litter box. Or when she's feeling nostalgic and takes a dump where her litter box used to be like 5 years ago.
ah gees, all you guys got great presents and all I got was coal and a lump of poop to clean up from my cat :(
author=pianotmUgh. Just thinking about that gives me heartburn.
I guess I should say, I got a variety pack of Mexican hot sauces.

Ashley - I really like that first screenshot!
Christamoose - That building with the tan-colored roof in the last screenshot should really be moved down about two or three tiles. You haven't allotted enough physical space for it. In the real world, the back half of that building would literally be going through that giant wall. Also, adding a few doors wouldn't hurt.
And I guess calling it a Zelda game wouldn't be inaccurate. It draws a lot of lore from the Zelda games and plays fairly similar. It doesn't take place in Hyrule, though.

author=BlindmindThanks! I may tweak the grass a little bit, but the whole game is generally pretty vibrant, so I don't want to change it too much.
@AlphaOmega247
Definitely much better. I think it was mainly the issue of the grass, which is perhaps overly vibrant. Maybe you could tone down the saturation just a tad more? But it's looking good!
Is that some sorta Zelda fangame btw?

I was told that my town's buildings were too gloomy for the rest of the map, and that my streets were too boring.
BEFORE:
AFTER:
I think the buildings probably need a little more tweaking, but I'm much happier with the street.

Wind Waker's Ganondorf was awesome. That speech he made before the final battle, about the winds bringing death to the Gerudo and prosperity to Hyrule was probably one of the best moments in any Zelda game. Then again, that whole final battle was one of the best moments in any Zelda game. In my less-than-humble opinion. So if Ganondorf is the villain, I'd love to see him return to that sort of form. We don't really need another Zant or Ghirahim. We need the man himself.
