BD_DESIGN'S PROFILE

Just another ex-gaming industry hopeful, going to school and learning as much as I can. I don't think making a game will directly affect my chances of getting a job, but it will teach me the process as well as organization, something I sorely lack. I'm no longer working for Zynga, which is too bad.

What else? I like Japanese food and cinema (but I'm not an otaku), CRPGs (of course), electronic music (90's Industrial FTW), Belgian ales, meat cooked over fire, 420, CGI, 3D animation, cats, SNES, subversive or black comedy, dystopian sci-fi, and any epic fantasy brave enough to step out of the Tolkien shadow.

My dislikes include all forms of bigotry, country music, fast food, factory farms, multinational corporations, warfare, social networking, romantic comedies (in general), and politics.

Sci-Fi Series'

Well, don't forget the Peacekeeper Wars, and if you're doing Battlestar, there's the prequel series Caprica. Total Recall 2070 was interesting, although it was more like Blade Runner than the movie. Both are based on Philip K. Dick stories. Stargate SG-1 was good, has a very strong (and accurate!) military theme. Ben Browder and Claudia Black star in the last season. I'm actually going through Stargate Atlantis right now, and quite frankly, I'm a little disappointed (but I'm determined to give it a chance). There's also the B5 spinoff, Crusade.

A great cheesy SyFy (before it was SyFy, I agree stupid name)series is First Wave. There's also Tekwar, written by William Shatner, and if Star Trek is your thing, then Andromeda and Earth: Final Conflict are out there. I know nothing about the Terminator Series, but that's out there as well as Robocop. Jericho is a Post Apocalyptic series, I think it was cancelled. Millenium, with Lance Henrickson is sort of a dark sci-fi, in an X-Files kind of way (Chris Carter created it, so it makes sense). Dark Skies has a conspiracy theory theme in connection to the Roswell Incident. Can't forget Alien Nation and SeaQuest DSV. Or Dark Angel, with Jessica Alba (yum!)

I remember a Witchblade show, but I only saw a few episodes of that, seemed alright. Dr. Who is a great low budget show. The Dresden Files was decent, and I'm probably the only person who enjoyed Lexx.

LOL I wasn't accusing, but you could do better.

Points to spend on stats at level up.

Hello from a very old RPG Maker...

4th layer coding.

Hmm what does this say..

who drinks coffee at 14?

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that was odd.

On topic, I think one of the main draws to FF7 was that it was the first one not released on a Nintendo system. This of course meant that we were exposed to mature subject matter that would have been lost in translation, due to Nintendo of America's censorship policies.

What's the last tv show you watched?

Finished A Bit of Fry and Laurie not too long ago.

Alrighty. I'd like to take a stab at this. By the way, from what I know about heraldry, crossed swords pointing down signify a past fight (as in remembrance), whereas pointed up signals that one is ready to fight.

What a flamer.

So are these animated like the Thief games?
