BACKWARDS_COWBOY'S PROFILE
Gaming and game design are my hobbies. I've spent the most time with VX Ace and 2k3 (prior to Steam release), but the only thing I've ever finished anything with is 2k.
Psychology was my first degree, but being responsible for depressed kids was too stressful. So I got a Masters in Healthcare Management and now I'm responsible for depressed adults!

Is it worth upgrading to Windows 10?
I went from 8.1 to 10 and I can't say I'm impressed. There's about a dozen or so unremovable bloatware apps (Xbox, etc.) that I'm never going to open let alone actually use. So far my computer has been running slower than before the update, and I'm experiencing lag even when doing something as simple as opening Firefox. I'm going to give it a week but if it doesn't get better I'm reverting to 8.1.

When does a match start (Pacific time plz)
Subtract three hours from any EST time zone match in the OP. For example, tonight's 10:00-10:30 and 10:30-11:00 matches should be 7:00-7:30, and 7:30-8:00 for you.

I wonder if Steam will change its DLC policy for this.
Because currently the DLCs are tied to RPG Maker VX Ace.
(You have to own Ace on Steam to use the DLC, owning another
RPG Maker on Steam won't allow you to have it, even though
the terms of use clearly say you can use in other RPG Makers.)
It would be a bit odd to release this on Steam for all the DLCs not to be also available for this (And vice versa for future DLCs to use in Ace.)
(Note these restrictions don't apply if you just buy from RPG Maker Web.)
You can access the Steam DLC purchases through a folder on your hard drive after they download, and move them to other makers manually. They're only tied to Steam as far as the download goes. Once it's downloaded, you can move them around in compliance with RPG Maker Web's licensing conditions.
To my knowledge, Steam can't override a publisher's TOS/licensing on their products, so once you buy them, you can use them in other makers if you move them.

I am hoping that the second screenshot on the upper left is indicating that the software will track the player's elevation and make bridges work the proper way without us having to event it in (walking over and under them).
I got my hopes up when I saw that too. Bring a new dimension to mountains and valleys without being awkward and frustrating.
Maybe there will be an entirely new passability option or mapping tool for it. Even just a "bridge" flag like there has been for counters would be nice.

I can't picture the mouse/touch working well unless they go for 8-direction movement as either optional or the default. I've played a handful of indie RPGs on iOS that were basically ports of RM games, and 4-direction with touch controls does not transfer well. If you don't go the "take up 15% of the screen with a virtual d-pad" route, it just becomes frustrating to move around.
I can see the mobile compatibility being good for good games so they can be ported over, but we all know it's probably going to end up like Steam where the majority of the games manage a 47% - 63% rating at best, and get denounced as scams at worst.

I guess I'm in for both.

I don't really have a main, but you could throw Donkey Kong in there if you really need to put one.
