Due to situations beyond his control, Ben has more idle time than he should have! "Hands" are the devil's playground and as such Ben is often drawing or diddling around in RPG-maker VX Ace to give his life a semblance of actual meaning.

Eh, a little bit. Shoes aren't really too important though. I wouldn't worry about it.
If I add a puffy green wig the shoes will look 100% normal! Though Liam is only suppose to be a clown in spirit, not in the way he dresses. lol.

The general consensus on RMN is that you can't get what you imagine with just hard work. I agree to some extent, but for the most part I think someone can make whatever they want if they will it.
I have to admit, VX Ace is rather versatile. Most of the things I wanted to do I've been able to.

Sounds like fun if you do it right!
The trick is doing it right. lol. I remember Blanca's mini game in Shadowhearts covenant was funny as hell and a great tribute to smart dog comedies & Metal Gear. I doubt I'll reach that same level of excellence though.

I did sort of think Liam's shoes in this picture came off as too toony. Aka, they look clownish!

Oh! I thought she was wearing sandals and the lines were the separation of her toes.
I can see where they might give off that vibe. lol. Actually her boots were inspired by water resistance rain boots I used to wear as a kid.

I found out "Candy Coded Response" did the really cool "bee girl edit" I used for one of the bosses later in the game. It's a shame even she did not know who the original artist was. Still, I'll probably add her name to the credits.

Like the portraits and environments. Very much reminds me of a love child between LOTR and A Song Of Ice And Fire.

I like what I see! There's a language barrier right now (apologies for my own ignorance) but I'd still like to play this down the road.
