Due to situations beyond his control, Ben has more idle time than he should have! "Hands" are the devil's playground and as such Ben is often drawing or diddling around in RPG-maker VX Ace to give his life a semblance of actual meaning.

Does anyone have feedback to give?
I read somewhere even reviews must be approved by a moderator/administrator. It's highly likely someone has tried to post a review which simply wasn't quite up to snuff with the guide-lines.
I think an issue here is that almost everybody on this site is making games themselves so taking on reviewing too may feel a bit stressful. (Aka,designing games while reviewing other games equates to a lot of hard work)
However, I have downloaded your game and if my future review gets the green-light you'll be the first to know!

It's kind of strange that some of your maps are really good and then others could definitely use work. It's all fine and dandy though, maybe you could post some of them in the screenshot topic.
I expected as much,really. It's difficult to hit a home-run every time,especially with map creation. Well,unless you are a prodigy map-maker. lol. (I'm most certainly not)
Years later I may obsess over the small details and re-do some of these areas to be much better and more grandiose but for now I'll be happy just to get this out the door by February!
I'll probably drop by the screenshot topic at some point too though it's kinda late and I should really get some sleep,Clae.

I'm a huge fan of about every show/movie referenced here! And since Buffy, Evil Dead, Supernatural, and Hercules had a lot of ties to mythology and mystic artifacts housing ancient evils, a cross over doesn't seem too far fetched!
Does operating system type effect VX Ace?

Well I use Google Chrome, and it always shows a percentage for the uploads in the lower left corner.
Maybe it's just a chrome thing I guess?
Strange. I have both google chrome & Firefox. Aka, I should see something. I might have to change something in my settings.

For Firefox, I discovered an ADD-ON that brings up an upload progress window similar to the download progress one. Having something that tells the progress is useful because otherwise you have to be patient until it's done (unless something goes wrong), with no feedback during the process. I can imagine that's pretty useful for uploading files the sizes we're talking about.

It depends on your browser, apps, settings and the like whether you get an upload/download bar at all. It's not built into the actual pages themselves as far as I'm aware, but it's been a while since I last uploaded a game file.
Even without a download/upload bar all I really need is patience. That seems to be the general gist of it.

When I tried uploading my game directly from my pc to RMN it simply said "connecting" and would not give me any progress data at all. Aka, no uploading bar or anything else.the nextan upgrade to RMN? Not particularly sure on this point.

There is a way to provide a Dropbox link that instead of sending you to a Dropbox download page, actually links the download to your Dropbox account. You get this little Send to Dropbox button right under the Download Now button. How it is done, maybe somebody who has done so can elaborate ...

That would be info I'd appreciate. But at least "for now" all is well. lol. Who knows what weirdness the future will bring though.

I had problem with the safety guidelines of the pc but I found a way around.

Sorry it took me so long,Shun. I was pretty new to drop-box but when people kept suggesting it I saw it as a viable solution. When the final version of the game is updated I'll continue to have the drop-box option. Seems to be the most hassle free way for many people.
