Priorities
As far as priorities go, animations can be inserted pretty late in the development process without too much problem, so you can always decide later. Although for a long game, it might be beneficial to plan ahead a little bit on the database, for example by copying some animations onto new entries, and then setting some specific skills and whatnot to specific animation entries.

I haven't tried your link specifically, but in the past mediafire seemed to have some issues with popups and triggering my antivirus, so I prefer not to go to mediafire.

I actually never knew the pirate gave double money, because I don't think it's mentioned in the actual skill menu. I also didn't know what Traverse was. I'd suggest adding a dummy skill for these kinds of things to describe their effects.
Umbral Soul
Congrats on all the nominations and impending awards! This was a fun game, and the characters definitely carried the game. I think I almost felt a tear in my eye for the scene near the end before the finale. The optional dialogues with party members in the castle and the extra collectible cutscenes was a nice touch.
