A Very Long Rope to the Top of the Sky
Hey, thanks so much! I love to hear when people connect with the characters. Keep an eye out for Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass because it's going to blow this game out of the water!
The older I get, the more I think that most criticisms that turn based is 'outdated' compared to action systems are ridiculous. It's like saying chess, or checkers even is 'outdated'.
Yeah; it's particularly strange since both gameplay systems developed side by side, but in the past five/ten years, turn-based became increasingly considered dated.

Magical Alteration – changes to the body’s innate capabilities that might involve enflaming the libido or reshaping the sex organs or things even more drastic.
Will there be room for a character who can fire sonic blasts from their hands?

Ooooh, education; our education budget should be so goddamn bloated. Things I'd want from education:
-Free Pre-K.
-Higher standards for incoming teachers. Master's in applicable fields for high school is preferable--general education degrees less so when classes get specialized. I want teachers that exhibit a love and deep understanding for their fields.
-Higher pay to accommodate the increase in education level.
-Higher pay incentives in schools in lower income areas.
-Music departments encouraging a wider range of instrumentation and not being tied to the marching band.
-Higher standards for students.
-The addition of logic, psychology, anatomy, and philosophy courses into the core curriculum.
-Expanding the Federal Pell Grant system so that incoming college Freshman get free tuition in state schools with a 3.0 GPA (on a four-point scale), and they keep that status as long as their GPA in college also doesn't drop below 3.0.
Please let my utopia exist one day. Also, in my magical fairy tale, the intelligent design debate is just a laughable relic of an ignorant era. I'd also prefer more of a focus on world history than U.S. history because, you know, there's just way more THERE (and quelling isolationist paranoia seems kind of important lately).

I think that Trump's victory is definitely due in part to the whole "anti-PC" thing. It's just unfortunate that PC culture is a cultural phenomenon independent of actual public policy; so many of Trump's younger supporters voted for him at least in part because they don't like being annoyed.
I agree that it's annoying behavior; shame might just be the worst motivational tool. Unfortunately, the ticket that conservatives latched onto in order to fight this comes with a lot of other stuff that's kind of horseshit: impractical trade policies, antiquated social policies from the religious right, promises based on outright lies. Another unfortunate result from this: a small percentage of actual racists are getting emboldened, and the things they're going to say and do is going to be placed under a microscope by the media, and the PC backlash from that is going to be intense.

Maine also passed ranked-choice voting, which will hopefully be an in-road for other states after seeing its effect. If you want to have third parties, that's how it pretty much has to happen.

Clinton got raked over the coals by the FBI and Congress and nothing stuck. You can choose to believe that both of those right-leaning institutions are too corrupt or inept to get a conviction, but the more likely scenario is that your understanding of the law is functionally nothing and instead you've been taken in by right-wing propaganda.
Too, the whole "Clinton is corrupt" schtick never takes into account that Trump has a decades-long list of shady behavior, just in the private sector. The only reason Trump's record in office is clean is because he hasn't served yet.
