Just an aspiring game designer. I've played video games since I was little and recently have gotten to the point of 'it would be so cool if this was like this' or 'if there were more options to customize this, it would be amazing', add that on top of getting ideas for games randomly and I figured I'd try my hand at making my own.
My favorite types of games tend to be:
1. Dungeon-crawling, with an emphasis on fun battles and customization with difficulty selection.
2. Horror-type games, it was awesome to see RPG Maker even capable of making games like these.

Hey this game is super awesome so far. :D
Only thing is I got to the part where you fight the Snake boss after the forest, and a blue exclaimation mark pops up, then a blue arrow. I press the right arrow key, it doesn't work, I try pretty much all the keys one by one and nothing's working o:
Is there something special I'm supposed to do or such?

Your process here: Leave Yanfly's Party System where it is. Remove every other script and put it back in one at a time, playtesting each time, until you discover which script is causing the error. Once you have that narrowed down, it'll be easier to look at the individual script, try to adjust it accordingly, or replace it with a comparable script (Usually your best option). My guess is that your problem is with a script that somehow affects your battle system, so look at those first.
Following what you said, I started on to doing that.
I picked the script I thought was most likely the culprit and got it on the first try. xD

Though now just need to figure out if this script is salvagable or if I have to go without it. Cuz I can, it's mostly a convenience-type script. <_>

The situation sounds similar to script hanging from being stuck in an infinite loop (I got that a lot in my script tests -_-), and they usually don't have error pops showing a specific location, though occasionally they will have popup with display of "script hanging" if you leave it running long enough (that is in XP, btw), and I don't remember if they'll have the cursor set to the location where the hanging happens.
If that's the case then you might be right about the part of trying to target and a very likely place that would have the hang to occur would be when running the smooth_target (probably actor) methods, though the cause might have something to do with how the criteria for breaking the loop wasn't met in the specific situation you described. And yes other scripts might affect how the method was run, especially if they modified something in Scene_Battle phase4 or Game_Party, etc. Looping error might happen to other scripts as well. Sadly I might not be help further beyond this since I only have XP...
Yeah it's probably an infinite loop. Though I found the script that was causing it, so maybe now I just need to find out where it's looping. x: Thanks though! O:

Alright, so in my current project I'm using Yanfly's Party System. I have two characters currently in my party.
My issue is when I go to the menu, access 'Formation' and remove either the main character, or the second character, it all works fine and as it should, I walk around as the lone character. But when I enter a battle, and it comes to the enemy's turn to hit me, the game freezes. But not in the 'freeze' way, like the game stops, the music keeps playing, just the enemy doesn't attack and I'm left sitting there.
It's almost like the enemy is trying to target the character who was removed but it can't? I don't know.
Anyway, I tried it in a fresh project, and it works just fine. So it might be a script compatibility issue, or it could be something else. The only problem is I have no idea how or where to look without an 'error' explaination popping up.
Is there anyone experienced in this or has had this happen before that could give me advice? If you're good with scripts and feel you could identify what script compatibility issues I could be experiencing, let me know and I can send you a link to the game so you might be able to figure it out easier.

Yeah, I got the remastered version, not unless another update came out that I am not aware of.

You just go to the 'downloads' page, click on the 'remastered patch' and unzip it, and replace the data folder in the (game folder) with the one you downloaded. ^^

(or for those not good with technical stuff, take your save.rvdata2 out of the folder onto the desktop, delete the entire game folder, then click the big download button at the top of the page here to download the game in it's entirety. Then put your save into -that- folder. Both ways work the same. )

Ah yeah gotta love White Wind -type skills in games. Plus glad you got use out of healing wind. I found the haste buff on it helpful when later bosses started using Slow to screw with the turn order. xD
Sounds like you got his skillset all worked out, Monster Tamer is a really well balanced class. I keep thinking this the more I hear about it. xD
That's a nice cycling order you got going on there. xD I always combined an Arcanist or magic-type class myself with a healer for better healing, but really that hampers their damage capabilities. xD Sounds like she's a beast on your team haha.
I should try that myself I was too hesitant to go with Alarming Presence when it comes to post game bosses cuz I feel like their concentration on one person would end up with them dead most of the time rather then spread out damage. But it would help the White wind user to keep his hp topped. Yeah I moved the Moon Armor to be the second reward on the Moon Tower now, on Pillar 2, i figure if anyone wants to tempt the tower before fully completing the cooridor at least they have shots at good things to wear. And yes, elemental resistance does (should?) stack.
Yeah I wasn't sure what to do with it. I just went with what would be useful for a white mage but at that time most people would have the passives to prevent that anyway. I feel I'll go with 25% elemental resistance. That way you got 3 items with that you can spread to everyone in the party if that's some people's thing.

Hmm I think to deal with the crits I may just add an increased crit chance on bows in general. That plus the damage from slayers (winged slayer even works well on Caelia in a pinch) might give the class a good buff. That, plus a slight bit more attack and some status ailments won't be too bad to add on.
That's true but I imagine every character might want to have their drive for just incase, as it is still used for powerful limit breaks + mari's tea time if you choose to use that for healing. oh and Morale Boost gives 10 Tp each turn, not sure if i was clear on what it did in the description. I thought the +10 Tp would be telling but i could see how that could just be seen as it's initial effect.
Haha yeah that's true but I'm glad I made it so you don't have to resummon them when the summoner died. It kinda helps. XD What was your class setup at the end game if i may ask? O: i don't know if you told me yet or not. xD
