Dashing Through the Dungeon
Depends on your mechanics.
I plan to make random encounters appear if you move too long without stopping.
First you get an exclamiation mark above your head ("!") then 2, ("!!") then 3, "!!!" than, if you don't stop within a second or so, the battle will start.
So dashing around will decrease the time between "!", "!!!" and the start of the battle.
Now if you use encounters that appear on the map and you can avoid them all by daashing, it might be worth deactivating it in a dungeon.

Got a somewhat final version of my Intro done, I don't think Ill change much, minor adjustments aside, unless I get a relly good reason too.

Hm yeah, you're right, guess ill remove the path completly and only keep the campfire.

@Momeka: That animation is really cool, it has a total retro feeling to it.
@Archeia_Nessiah: looks good overall, but could benefit from some more backdrop items/plants and same more different ground tiles/shades to mix things up.
@Topic; Decided to post here again, since the is little to no response when I only post on the games page. Anyway, here are a newer ingame Screenshot of the Town Building System (added backdrops) as well as an eagles eye view of the same Map:

Glad you like it, those wisps are just RPG maker XP RTP Charsets for somke.
I just repurposed them, same with halve the tiles used.

Really like it, though I feel like a magically door should open in that arch of books...

Thanks, I already gave the heart a makeover (inner white boarder to fit to the text) and added the full name of the character to the top of the information page.
The heart is kind of taken from harvest moon/pokemonami, you can increase base happiness of all characters by interacting with them in your base, agreeing with their point in cutscenes and giving them food/items they like.
As of now, if your party members are happy, then they gain quicker healing from some conditions in battle as well as higher chance of critical hits.
