Hey there! :3
I'm Lucy and I love to take a creative attempt on videogames.
Making the familiar unfamiliar.
And most important: aiming for a very high level of polishing.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
Played through Uncharted 4 these days.
It's super awesome! The gameplay, the graphics, the storytelling. (It's a pretty cliche story, but greatly told :D ) Everything is very polished and feels great.
Not a game of the year. But a great experience.

And started making a picture journal of his adventure.
Oh, that's a great idea!
I always wanted to do it, but there are so many games to play D:
Btw. I can totally recommend you a small MOD. It doesn't change anything in the game itself.
It just adds a journal in which you can write. You can even export all your written texts. <3
[Poll] Do YOU use project templates?
Never thought about using templates before.... but I also don't make games that are similar to each other. xD
So... no. I don't use them. When a new idea pops up, I love to put everything that comes into my mind in the project, testing, exploring what is possible and what fit's the picture in my head...
Maybe I would use one for a sequel or so...

...I'm also like 60% through Ori and the Blind Forest. Great game but I got distracted by Ara Fell and planting cauliflower.
It's such a lovely game <3
I recently upgradet to the Definitve Edition and it was totaly worth the 5€.
The new areas and skills fit in perfectly and I still can't get the soundtrack out of my head xD
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
Normally I tend to stay away from unfinished episodic games.
But I couldn't resist to try out Kentucky Route Zero. There are 3 of 5 Acts done and the 4th seems to be nearly finished.
From what I played so far.... I don't regret a single spent cent for this game. It's weird, it's unique, it's great!
I actually bought it over a year ago, but back then my English wasn't nearly as good as it is now. So I didn't understand most of the text in the game. :/ No I do. And I love it even more!

@Rebezion: That's a cool style you made there O:
Love the coloring and that bird :D
@SgtMettool: They are fancy :D
I'm curious what attacks they will have. xD

How long does it take you to make a game?
I finished two games. One has a playtime of 1 hour and took me a bit less then a month to make. (Was for igmc)
My other game took me 2 1/2 years and has a playtime of 4-6 hours.
That one is a story driven Point n Click where I wanted to add as much detail as possible....
It depends on your own working speed (I'm horribly slow xD). And on the amount of detail you want to put in. A super detailed game will take much longer than a simpler one.
Additional you have to calculate in the size of the game. A small but detailed game can take as much time as a large and low detailed game.
And it depends on how much you have to do on your own. Own graphics, sounds or music take additional time. (Often a lot of it)
