Pom of the Year could be a legit category.

But then it would be Pom every year D:
I've never seen a game that long on the front page xD

Best Dialogues
Could also be a nice one. Good conversations are hard to write.
Especially when they should sound natural.
And they can make a bad game good and a good game bad O:

How long should it take for one to finish a game?

I think it depends on how you want the game to be. (If this makes sense)
You can make games pretty fast, but that could result in ugly maps and unbalanced fights and bad stories etc. (Not always, but mostly)

If you want such things like custom graphics, special effects or very pretty maps, it can take a lot more time.
It also depends of the gampelay. Story and sequences are always taking more time than "just" gameplay. (At least it does ths for me xD)

Wheter it is worth your time or not should depend on how important the game is to you. Is it your hearts desire to tell this story and to finish this project? Or is it just for fun and not important at all for you?

I made two games. One took me a month to do and has only 1 hour of gameplay.
The second took me more than 2 years and has only 4-6 hours of gameplay.
But I always put a lot of details in every map and the techniques took some time. And I also had some breaks during development....
But then again... I'm a very slow person xD

Well.... yes. It depends on many things.
But I think, when you have the feeling that it is worth your time, then it is.
It is your own life after all. And you should do what you want to do with it. :D
If this is a game. Then do this game. No matter how long it may take to finish it.

Best Easter Egg
Cause every game needs some :D

Best Use of Coffee
Right Zach?

Misaos Categories for 2016

Most Useless Feature
Which game has a feature no one even knows it has it!
(Like savegames that look like stamps >_(\ )

I'm totally for Best Ending and Best Intro as well.
Cause these are super important. O:

Or something like
Best Dungeon(s)
Most rpgs and adventures have them, but which of them were really great?!

Best Bossfight
It's really hard to make a very good bossfight <_<
And one that is fun and thrilling or both together or even something more...!
That should be honored! O:

Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!

Finnished my game and now I am bored :/
Waiting for my betatesters D:

Gnargh! I want to do something! D:

What are you thinking about? (game development edition)

Why do I always have to make thousands of poses for every scene I do? x_x

What do you think of when you hear "RPG Maker"?

An engine to throw out one crappy game after another....
But also an engine, which allows you to throw out one pearl after another.

Everyone can use it, but not everyone has the ability to create pearls.
Such as Ib or Star Stealing Prince <3

But I also think of a lot of fun and great communities with lot of great people, who share the same fun and passion.

And yeah.... crappy games! x,D
Joke :P

Requests for Deckiller to review your game

I would gladly read a review for my game Ink Travellers
It's a completed game and has a playtime of 1 hour... maybe 1 and a half.
