author=Aegix_DrakanIt's not necessarily the amount of maps that counts, I think. You need to submit 3 screenshots that show you have put some real effort into the game yourself. Unedited sample maps would probably not qualify as such...
Wait, there's a rule that you need 3 or more maps? I had no idea.
author=Aegix_DrakanI don't think it the use of those sample maps in principle that is the problem. It is that apparently, some people include screenshots of them when they submit their game to the site for acceptance - which is just ridiculous.
As for sample maps, I'm guilty of having used some in the past (although I DID edit most of them a bit). It was for the Lite cook-off contest where we literally had 2 weeks to make a game, so I got a liiiiitle bit pressed for time and used some sample maps for the towns (and final dungeon).
While I don't think there's anything wrong with using a few here or there, I try not to do it anymore. Especially not for dungeons.

Hey, don't put words like that in Kairy's mouth! I'm totally fine with Ilan constantly flirting with her, since he's just playing his character. But then please let me play my character as well. In case it hasn't become clear by now, Kairy is pretty much asexual. And if there is supposed to be some shipping going on, I'd like to have a little say in the matter, too, 'kay?

Either way, that's weird. Give me a few minutes and I'll make a screenshot for you which shows the setup for the Common Event I had in mind. Maybe I described it wrong earlier. It will taken from RPG Maker XP, but the event commands should have the same names. Just wait a moment.
If that doesn't work either, I guess I won't be able to help you. I don't know a thing about scripting, unfortunately, and good scripters are rare and valuable.
