Hm... Guessing from your avatar, I'd have thought your favourite was, well, Jinx.
Also: Malzahar, Amumu, Nasus and Blitzcrank for the win! :)

how can i make a common event trigger for only the user of a skill
This is worded quite vaguely, but I'll try my best. I guess what you want to do is have a character cast the spell, then have it trigger a Common Event that changes that character's equipment and a variable depending on who it is, right?
You can use the following trick to achieve it: Set the skill's target to "The User", then have it inflict a state that has no effects at all (I'll call it the "No Effect State"). This state must be set so that its infliction never fails and it is invisible to the player (priority = 0). The point behind this state is that it "marks" the character who used the skill.
Then, set up the Common Event that is triggered by the skill. Put Conditional Branches in the Common Event that check if a character has the "No Effect State". You have to make one Conditional Branch for each character that can be in the party. Inside those Conditional Branches, set the commands for whatever you want to change about the respective character (in this case, equipment and an individual variable). Don't forget to remove the "No Effect State" from all characters at the end of the Common Event. Then it should work fine.
I hope this helps.

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)
Well, of course it's seiromem's decision who can participate, but since sign-up isn't closed yet, I'd say go for it.

So that means we have to send each other PM's or what?
I don't think that's what he meant. We just discuss our plans and ideas openly here in the thread, but when we've come up with a definitive plan of action, we post those in bold so seiromem can immediately find them without having to search for an eternity. It's kind of like the #Lynch Someone in Mafia.
The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)
Thanks, seiromem. If it's okay, I'd like to edit my stats then so they fit Kairy's proficiency with ranged weapons better.
Also, wes, I just love how every character you play is totally naive in kind of a cute way. This is going to be fun... :)

Chance Encounter Review
Coincidentally, I wrote a review for this game just a few days ago. And even though mine was fairly critical as well, I must say two things in defense of this game:
1. You have the option to save anywhere right from the menu, which of course makes fixed save points obsolete. No reason to give a "big thumbs down" for that.
2. Although the story is very simple, quite odd and probably a matter of taste, it is not entirely as pointless as you make it sound. If you pay some attention, the ending somewhat explains why the woman just joined you for seemingly no reason, and it also becomes clearer who the other characters are.
In general, I agree with this review. However, I think its tone is overly harsh and it is not as informative as it could have been. At least, that's my opinion.

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)
I'm totally joining this. Here's my character:
----------------
Name: Kairy Qiuvan
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Race: Human
Class: Mercenary (Ranged)
Level: 1
Attributes: (47 points)
ATK: 8
ENDU: 9
MAGI: 5
DEX: 13
PERC: 12
Elemental Affinities: Fire, Air, Force.
Elemental Deficiencies: Magi, Miasmal.
Weapon: Heavy crossbow (You know, those things that can shoot right through nearly anything, but take forever to reload.) (If possible, I'd also like to have a small mace as a melee side-weapon.)
Armour Speciality: Light Armour
Bio: Her profession of mercenary made Kairy stop caring very much about other people's lives. She is still quite lawful and would never outright rob or steal from anyone or betray an ally. But she has no problem with looting her victims' dead bodies and will not hesitate to shoot anyone she believes to be a threat. While usually loyal to her allies, Kairy is too self-centered to have many close friends, and she is absolutely not interested in any kind of romantic relationship or the like.
Kairy is also quite greedy for gold, which is pretty much the only reason she decided to go investigate the tomb.
---------------
Also, two small questions:
How are ranged weapons handled stat-wise? Is their damage also based on ATK, or do they only work with DEX?
And could you maybe explain the different elements a bit more precisely? I get the gist of it, but I'd like to know what exactly defines for example Magi and Miasmal.
