[RM2K3] Row movement when characters join mid-combat

So as the title suggests I'm having a major issue with a couple of battles where other party members arrive mid-combat and join you in the battle.

What happens is after the characters are added to the party during battle the whole party is moved to the back row. Is there any way to stop this from happening as it really screws with the flow and makes no sense.

It's unfortunate but a requirement in order for the player to be able to see how much MP other party members have when deciding if they can/can't activate a Dual/Triple or Quad Tech. That's why when it's completely filled there is a yellow indicator at the very end that can be seen.

[RM2K3] Cast time script

In my own game I have a 'skill' that turns ON a switch called 'Casting', then on the monster's next turn they have the chance (by changing the 'rating' in attack patterns of these ones to 99) of performing one of 5 different other skills that require said switch to be ON. Using one of these new 5 skills will turn OFF the 'Casting' switch and return the monster to their normal attack pattern where they must again use the 'Casting' skill to load up another one of their spells.

You could also have multiple 'Casting' skills all with different MP requirements for more powerful spells.

I haven't used this for the player though, only monsters but it's an idea for you to mess around with.

What were they thinking?
Probably that the timer has to end the battle because events that could react on it would work only outside of battle, and hence if you select to continue the timer in battle, it means you also count battle time so you have to end the battle in order to react on the timer running out.

To patch this behavior away, let me know which RPG_RT version you are using.

[RM2K3] Timer ending battle

I'm using timer #2. There doesn't seem to be any other options besides 'Show Timer' & 'Continues in Battles' (both of which are selected).

I am using timer #1 as a global timer for something else (but I have it stop during battles to avoid this problem). Timer #2 is being used as a 'make it to the end or suffer the consequences' situation so it must run during the battles in question..

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Has anyone found a way to stop the timer from ending the battle when it reaches 00:00?

[RM2K3] Map tree/database corrupted?

Had this happen a few months ago during a power outage. I ended up having to use a backup of the game and copy/paste maps that weren't corrupted into the backup (through the RM2K3 program) from the map tree. All database was lost. You may be able to salvage some of the game maps/events this way.

Hope it all works out.

Looking for Flute sounds

Looking for someone to make five VERY short (3 second or less) Flute sounds.

They will need to convey a feeling (Happy/Sad/etc).

Inbox me if this is something you can do, I'd be willing to pay if the cost is not too high. I imagine this is easily accomplished by someone with knowledge and the right program..
