Just a game dev who primarily uses RPG Maker VX Ace and enjoys writing and composing the most. I love horror games, adventure games, JRPGs, and practically any game with a compelling story.
A brief description of my projects:
Prom Dreams: A High School Love Story (Complete)
A high school dating sim with a dark twist. While you begin the game as a normal teenage boy looking for a date for prom, you'll quickly find yourself in the midst of a bloody, horrific mystery. Gameplay is primarily story and exploration driven, with numerous surprises for those who take their time to explore, with a touch of macabre adventure-style puzzles.
Turovero: The Celestial Tower (Completed)
A traditional JRPG that slowly unfolds into a deeper, darker mystery (I think this is going to become a theme with my games...). Play as four archetypal heroes ascending a mysterious tower to defeat an ancient evil, only for them to find that things aren't quite as they seem. Gameplay is a mixture of dungeon crawling and turn-based battles with plenty of environmental puzzles to solve, as well as a choice-driven narrative with multiple routes and endings.

Admitting Defeat - When A Videogame Breaks Your Spirit
Count me among the ranks of people who can't play Dark Souls. I can DO hard games; I managed to fight my way through The Evil Within (which can be UNFORGIVING, but fairly so) and somehow managed to beat Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth even WITH bugs that rendered the music mute and a critical enemy INVISIBLE (the boat fight... never again x_x ), but... not when a game has as seriously complex a system as Dark Souls and tells you nothing about how it actually works.
I STILL don't know what becoming undead is supposed to do to you other than make you ugly as sin. I STILL don't know the rules of equipping stuff or even what half my inventory does. I got past the "tutorial" (which only tells you how to fight shit, not how anything WORKS) and kept getting my ass handed to me in the area immediately after because I didn't know what the hell I was doing. Maybe I'm not hardcore enough, idk, but it really soured my enjoyment and I ended up reselling it because I didn't have the patience to learn the mechanics from scratch. :C
A slightly sadder story involves Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete. Guess who saved after the final dungeon point of no return underleveled and with no way to replenish her items before reaching the final boss... yyyyyyyyyyyyup. >_> And I especially raged since the game is SO GOOD, easily one of my favorite PS1 titles, but no, I didn't finish it because I thought the game would have the decency to warn me before I ventured past a point of no return!
...I think that game is solely responsible for all of the annoying "Are you SURE you want to leave school??? Are you SUUUUUURE???" messages I put in Prom Dreams. >_____>

Prom Dreams: A High School Love Story

I played this game and I really enjoyed it. A few things I really like to point out:
- The mixture beetween love story and horror is exactly what I looked for as I found this game. I found what I was searching and it was better than I thought.
- Your system of horror. I am honest I played many horror games and read creepy stories as well. I hadn't had shivers down the spine like this before since... well... for a long time ago. Short "stealthy" horror events which became more awefull with time are much better than a monster which is chasing you.
- The multilingual dialoques sometimes. It is a school right? And the pupils learn foreign languages right? And I was so satisfied as someone suddenly talked my native language haha.
- The endings. Really you did a good job with all three endings. I absolutely hate these endings where everyone is happy and everything is wonderful.
You put a lot of love (and also hate :-) ) in this game. I'd like to play more games like this.
Hi there, thank you so much for playing and I'm so happy you enjoyed it! :D
I'm especially glad you liked the horror aspects; I loved programming the haunting events and I'm excited that they managed to creep at least some people out. ;)
Yeah, St. Giles has classes in French, Spanish, and German. The game also has snippets in languages like Latin, Hebrew, and Portuguese, though you have to reaaaally look hard for them.
As for the endings... (Spoilers under the hide box)
I believe there's a place for "everyone's happy" endings, especially for adventure games, traditional RPGs, etc. If every ending were tragic, a lot of us wouldn't be motivated to complete these kinds of games. But there are some stories which do better with a bittersweet ending at best, and I felt this was one of them. One of the points that I wanted to really emphasize was the gravity of Dolores' crimes and their irreversible impact. I also felt that, despite her being worthy of pity for what she's been through, she should not receive easy absolution or the romance she wanted, as that would have cheapened her as a villain and character. Hopefully, what I did do with the Good Ending illustrated my intentions, but either way I'm glad you received all the endings well. :D
If you'd like, you can take a quick survey about the game here - this'll help me plan for my next game as well as fix bugs and the like on Prom Dreams. Thanks again for playing and Happy New Year! :D

[RMVX ACE] I'll translate your English game to Indonesian!
I'd love to hand over my game to you but it's 130 MB due to the sheer amount of original music and sound effects. Plus, it's EXTREMELY text heavy with several versions of each cutscene so it'd be a beast to translate probably. :D;;;
Good luck though and thanks for offering your service!!
