Pizza- Big fan of all you've been doing but can't say I care much for the window or the font. The window itself, it's cute, I mean it's neat and all but I just don't like wood grain behind what I'm reading, especially if readability is your primary concern. The font, it seems blurry compared to the ultra cleaness of your map gfx, maybe its the thin black stroke around the text itself, idk. These are minor gripes but I think you could come up with something cleaner. I'd have to agree about the centering, but if you're dead set against it I would consider actually reducing the width of the whole box, so more of the map is vosable to the right. I dunno, go with your gut of course but just some food for thought.

@Bizarre I think those buildings look bad. The windows in particular. They register more as big blocks of color than windows imo.
I think something like this would look better:
That that took literally 2 seconds. Slow down on the details a little bit and I think it would drastically improve the overall look.

Thanks for the comments on black future. Its been fun going back and forth between that and Eagleland.
@bizarre. I like the more consistant look of these hand drawn parallax maps. The animation looks neat. I still think you could detail them a little better but I'm digging it.

Interesting color scheme with the purple grass. Def get a higher resolution backdrop for that last image though, those are some blurry stars

Got both projects in the works, I just go where motivation takes me. This one is a nice break from the colorful EB gfx

Room could probably be smaller. Also consider moving those counters at the top all up one tile so they look more against the wall. Also everything is a bit monochromatic with all the yellow. Possibly experiment with some complementary colors in there, some blues or pink maybe would work well with the sweets thing.

Unfortunately I had to cancel the A Blurred Line project, I don't think Lysander was too keen on it. I had no idea he was still around/attached to the project...
Anyway I'm going to go back to focusing on my other two games. I just made a game page for my earthbound project Eagleland here : Rpgmaker.net/games/7293
Also the graphics I was using for ABLr were originally designed for my space game Black Future, which I haven't made a page for but if any if you liked the look of that keep an eye out.

A Blurred Line (Remake)
I have my own game(s) in progress but I doubt I'll ever get anywhere on them. Updating ABLs horrible graphics seemed like a fun way to improve my pixel art and improve the look of one of my favorite games at the same time. Why 2k3? Eh, that is just my engine of choice and a lot of Lys's 2k code And dialogue is directly transferable into my project. I am not changing the script. Lbh project completion rates are super low this is a fun project for me right now. Thanks for the input though, everyone I figured this would be a polarizing idea.
