Holy shit I wish I lived in the US
It's possible to con people no matter where you live. You should probably have enough dignity and respect to not do it though- you could just as easily make a good game and sell that.
Barkley 2 Kickstarter
That's also why his name/appearance is absolutely nowhere in the kickstarter and probably not in the game either. I doubt Tales of Games is that freaking stupid. It's connection to first game appears to be through the Cyberdwarf, i.e. not Charles Barkley and not something they could be sued over.
We are being incredibly careful about copyrights - we've talked to lawyers and have been given the okay. Everything we're doing is completely legal; we're not using ripped art and assets this time around and you'll notice we've been very careful about throwing around Charles Barkley's name!!
Barkley 2 Kickstarter
Oh my god. You can bet that if I had any money at all I would be donating some of it to this. This is fantastic.
I wish them the best luck possible with this project. Barkley is probably one of my favourite indie games of all time, I would have never imagined that a sequel would ever get made.
This is probably why it isn't called Shut Up and Jam anywhere in the title. The dude's name isn't copyrighted.

author=JustRobauthor=CAVE_DOG_IS_BACKThe use of Barkley's name maybe? They've been very sly about it and used his name as little as possible on their Kickstarter, but it's still in the game itself.
please point out all use of license material and pop culture references. OR:::: Do you think you know more than true-doom murderhead lawyers?

Watched The Blair Witch Project. I really wanted to wipe Heather's nose.
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
@Craze: I disagree, but perhaps I used the wrong words. There were only a few characters that I entirely disliked in ME2, basically Jacob and Miranda since they were bland as all hell. I know for a fact that Legion not returning makes no sense since he says something along the lines of "We will fight with you until the Old Machines are vanquished". You can talk all you want about the Geth being at war, but Legion was operating on like 1000+ platforms. There's no way one of them shouldn't have been able to stick around.
I guess I hold the opinion because of the way they handled the post ending in ME2. Since you can still play after you deal with the main story I got the sense that the squad was sticking around for Shepard himself, and not just because Cerberus was paying them to. I guess I felt a weird disconnect between the games because of that, I didn't understand why I had to go and round up everyone all over again.
It's just me I suppose, I cry myself to sleep about how amazing ME2 is so I probably have a bias here. I do agree about not having a Krogan on the team though, that was really disappointing. I don't think I ever actually used EDI at all.

They probably could have avoided that problem if, you know, they actually carried over any of the characters from Mass Effect 2 into your squad. Instead of just coming up with reasons for them to leave and not have a role in the story.
I think that outside of the ending/handling of the Reapers the squard is one of my biggest problems with ME3.

Random Art Topic
So me an my friends rarely end up doing this thing we call "Analog Paint LAN" (It's better to not ask questions about that name) where we basically just spend the early hours of the morning drawing with whatever supplies we have available. What results can get pretty weird. These are from the last one, a few months back:
It started off pretty normal:

The things take a turn for the strange when "Jazz Man" appears:

(Jazz man is actually a portrait of my teammate, matrixmancs. I don't understand either.)
Finally there's the ever non-threatening Team Galactic:

@SorceressKyrsty: Really? I've never had a problem with doing self portraits. Maybe it's cause we work in different styles though. Perhaps I'll post one of mine later on.

Those enemy sprites are fantastic. As are the party sprites and, well, everything else in this screenshot. You've got the colours balanced freaking perfectly.
An Old Challenger... Slinks Back
I used to be called Lennon, yeah. Although it's likely that you don't remember that name either, I don't believe I ever spoke to you back then. I had to change accounts because: a. I forgot all of the info for the account, even the name (until Little Wing Guy reminded me) and b. I don't go by that name anymore.
