Custom Graphics Giveaway

Hey all, just thought that I'd contribute some original resources to the community. These graphics are somewhat incomplete, and basically all from projects that I've abandoned. Unfortunately I lost a lot of my work over the years, so this isn't a complete collection of all that I've done.

There are some rules that I'd like to set out though:

-I don't want people to use the game titles appended to the folders within the archive, at least not without my permission. I know that I don't have a trademark or a copyright on them, but it would be nice to not see it happen. Some of the titles have been hidden for that reason.

-I'd like to be credited for my work if you decide to use it. Again, I don't have TM/C on it, but it's polite to do so.

-As I said, I lost a LOT of my previous work, so this archive is really incomplete, basically scraps. If you really want to make a game with graphics in these styles, and can't do it yourself/get someone else to mimic it, you can ask me to do more for you. I probably won't be able to, but you can try.

Keep in mind that this archive doesn't include any past resources from games that me and matrixmancs are still planning to develop, or anything that I consider useful/too reminiscent of something we're going to put work into. Everything in here is pretty much a year/two years old, so besides the things that were lost plenty is missing.

Anyways, here's what little I can give out, hope you find it useful:

EDIT: It appears that I posted this in the wrong board. If a mod/admin could move it to the resources board it would be much appreciated.

This looks super rad, getting some serious Mondo-esque vibes from some of it. I'm going to watch this like a hawk.

Well, I thought of raising the pipes into an arch or something, but I don't have enough room in the tileset. I had to fit a submarine in there, which takes up most of the second layer, and I didn't want to make that a separate map. Besides, I can make use of walkable pipes in the next few maps that I have to set up.

Come play LoL with us!

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered there was an RMN League community. My summoner name is PizzaTheFace, started playing with a group of IRL friends about three-four weeks ago. We meet up every Saturday for 5v5s, and play often during weeknights.

I just sent invites out to you guys, although I'm not sure if we'll ever play, since I don't really do very many 3v3s and usually only go on when I'm teaming with my friends. In any case, I play Nunu mainly, just started learning Hecarim. Very rarely I'll use Warwick or Vlad.

This is going to be the finished product, at least until post production. Like I said, I have to get to work on other stuff, can't be fixing that forever. Thanks for all of your suggestions.

@LockeZ: I think it would be clear enough that they're stairs, since you go up a large flight to get onto the land from a dock beforehand. I already tried messing with the contrast and using a darker brown, and I thought that the stairs stood out too much.

The idea that you could walk onto the pipes, which I somehow didn't even think of, is good though. I could use it well later in the same area. I'll probably end up doing that, so thanks for the suggestion. I can't afford to be dallying around with this one thing for ages though, so it's good you said it as soon as you did.

hecarim, this isn't perfect but it's hopefully a start

I could do something with that, yeah. Thanks for the help. I'll post the results here once I clean it up and put it in the tileset.

EDIT: Like so:

It's breaking the perspective a bit but oh well. I suppose it's necessary sometimes, and it can be retooled in post production if need be.

Hey, just a quick question. I assume this is an appropriate place to ask, or at least a useful one, as it'll get more coverage than the gamepage at the moment.

I was wondering if the small overpass that's on top of this giant cable looks right. It's hard to convey that there's another staircase back there in a 3/4 perspective.

EDIT: To get it out of the way in case people ask, the ground is just a flat colour because I haven't gotten around to placing the associated fluff on it yet.

So I owe you guys an explanation.

I have to admit, I have almost no idea what RPG VX Ace is, so I'll have to look into that. But if there's any project around here that is deserving of the time and effort it would take to change engines, it's definitely this one. Good luck with the conversion Feld. I'm interested to see what it could become with the new tools.
